The flash backs to torture and being amongst Vietnamese villagers.
It totally makes sense how he behaved initially and then reacted when confronted.

3:10 one of the most iconic action scenes ever
The most hardcore in these scenes were the monks. Big guys with big guns running through the village, everyone is running to hide, and the monks just sit relaxed and meditate. Nerves of steel.

Sylvester Stallone is one of the BEST producers, directors an actors EVER- he is brilliant and I am so glad to have experienced Rocky, Rambo and everything in between. His legacy is undeniable.

This sequence takes place over a period of time. Its called a Montage! Hence the quick cuts of Rambo taking out Soldiers and the quick change in Weather.

Out of the five Rambo films, only Rambo 4 (2008) did not have this so called 'stealth hunt' scene. Although it did not have a stealth hunt scene, Rambo 4 nevertheless carries the most iconic Rambo quote -- "Live for nothing, or die for something."
The 4th Rambo was the most realistic and the darkest Rambo movie ever made. Needless to say, I loved it.

They just didn't film the bits where he goes to each location because it's an action. Same reason why we never see him on the toilet.
Consistency is the key. One minute, you're covered in mud, the next scene dry as can be and can travel at the speed of sound. A well thought of movie. And, love the sounds those arrows made.
Actually entertainment is key. Kinda like putting on a cape and flying, or turning into a green monster when mad.

0:03 as a kid I envisioned him struggling, trying to tie it up in the back without getting his hair caught in the knot.
03:07- 03.11 That's the best sequence in the entire movie. I remember watching it with my brother and dad in the early 90s in Turkiye. First blood was also amazing. If you look at the screenplay, you will see James Cameron's fingerprints. Julie Nickson, the woman who helps Rambo as Co Bao is Cameron's "brave female character" approach in the storyline. YOu can see similar characters in Terminator, Abyss, Alien, Titanic, etc.

The Film "First Blood" was a truly fantastic authentic character driven film. The Sequels to that film became cartoonish, silly shells of the original.

He knew the whole jungle and he knew the people😊thats why its good to venture out despite how bad folks may say an area is..One thing for sure, jogging is the best way to learn new areas along with bike riding..taking different routes will show you if youre being followed, or if your phone is being tracked..some folks dont care though they will show their faces everywhere you go to prove to themselves that you're not going to do anything or that youre alone..

the title of this gave me a humorous flashback. I'm a mailman, and one time at the elderly housing a new elderly lady was there, and I asked "now who are you" and she replied in a raspy voice "i'm your worst nightmare...." actually, she wasnt the worst nightmare, she was quite nice compared to some of the people I deal with.
