I was at this game also,it was amazing, people were all dressed up and when the beach balls appeared the crowd went crazy, amazing. yes the bhoys started singing 'bring on the psycho' and the daft b a s t a r d s sent him on ,brilliant.
This was not for Seville!! This is one of the biggest myths at Celtic ... this game was 4 days after Celtic knocked out Barcelona in 2004. There was a beach ball Sunday just before Seville at Ibrox, but it didn't even compare to this one. This game was David Marshall's first ever league game for Celtic and we won 2-0.
erm, i fink ull find that this was in season 2004-04, when we did the league nd cup double. this was right after we reached the UEFA cup quarters in spain
what i found funny that season was when we were not watching the bill , we were winning the cis cup then the scottish cup oh and then the spl too!!!!!!!!! haha get the party balls, hats and ballons out on the 4th may were coming over for a party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One day the old firm WILL win the european cup again. But it wont be rangers. Big Jock never knew about Torbett. As soon as he heard rumours, he fired him, which could have lead to Jock being sued, as there was no evidence. He had just rumours to go by.
i was at this, 2 things stick out in my mind: (1)walkin past empty food kiosks, i made my way to the toilets to piss. whilst relieving myself in the urinal some big guy yells at me " wha' the fuck ye doin pishin in tha urinal big un, here pish on the fuckin floor"!!! sure enough i turn around and approximately 5 grown men pissing on the toilet floor ! ! ! (2) as i cheerfully left the toilet i heard the celtic fans chant "amoruso yer a wanker",i asked my mate why?.. because he bust a beach ball!!
tell all the huns you know! inverness is as far as they'll go! they'll no need their shades! or buckets and spades! just sledges to play in the, sno...o...o...ow............... Beachball SundayII G.I.R.F.U.Y!!!!
so who are you supporting now????? cant wait to watch the highlights, newco huns v elgin aaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaah ghod bless craig whyte, here we go 10 in a row
i'm a fan of SSC Napoli...we had the greatest player of the football history: Diego Armando Maradona and i'm proud to support this team also because I was born and live in Napoli! I think you had a wonderful idea that year to throw those beachballs...I 've never seen anything like that....Fuck the loyalists...Rangers IS NOT Scotland!!
If you want to know the difference between Celtic and Rangers fans then it's this... One group throws beach balls in a classic and funny wind up, One throws potatoes in a humourless attempt to deride famine victims I'll let you decide which is which.
should have kept yer beachballs cos ye ended up wi nae trophies tae play wi that year hahahahahahaha. probably spent yer time playin wi the wee boys!!!!! BJK
You didn't read the personal messages I got in my inbox full of vile bigotry and threats. I thought I'd just show him up in public. It's a wind up buddy, Chill.
No, its not you who knew about child abuse and didnt do anything. Its not big jock either. Big Jock did more for celtic than any hun manager will EVER do for youse. He did more for scottish football than any hun manager ever will aswell. Remember when he tried to save the lives of all those thousends of huns fans at the ibrox disaster?
oh ye want to talk aboot us with walters ? lol and thats comin from a fan who supports a team that for years said anyone but the catholics , ye want to get a grip pal
If you're going to pick someone up on spelling, be sure to use the correct "your/you're". (as in "Is your PC stuck on capitals...." This post was brilliant until you brought catholic schools into it, bringing the whole tone of your argument down into the bitter and twisted sectarian nonsense that surrounds Glasgow and the football club that I love. Celtic are a club with supporters, staff and players of many different religions and ethnic backgrounds not solely Catholic. (prime example - Stein)
i feel sad for you guys, you have nothing but hate in you, eats at the soul dont you think? measure your performance in manchester versus celtics in seville? truly scotlands shame...
Goodness, where to begin with this bigoted, semi-literate ranting? Firstly I would offer you pity my misguided fellow Scot. Education and home life have obviously failed you in many ways. Best to settle on standard English as typing 'home' and 'hame' in the same sentence suggests a confused state. As for this 'Rangers till I die' perhaps Rangers 'Till they die' would be more accurate. Will you follow this 'Newco' with it's lack of history? Celtic fans will say 43-0 We welcome the chase!
celtic fans you're great...wonderful idea!!!
congratulations from an italian celtic fan!!

Hi

One group throws beach balls in a classic and funny wind up,
One throws potatoes in a humourless attempt to deride famine victims
I'll let you decide which is which.
do you say the same to your planter mates living in the north of Ireland? Enjoy the 3rd division lol

You copied my words of speech, then go on to discuss a topic completely irrelevant to my initial point.
Seems The Beggars never change.
A that season Rangers won the League. Great memories. Helicopter Sunday. Can't wait to see the Rangers win the League again this Sunday!!!
10 years later
