Fun fact: the tail number: RB 001, RB 002 ..... Is named after Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Bhadauria. This was to Honour him for his effort and hard work put into the Rafale deal.

@LOLO / VAL Yeah Sukhoi 30s do have an engine problem,they're not suited to the asian environment it seems.
Retd. air vice marshal nambiar the hero of kargil war pointed it out that we have a big problem with servicibility of the su-30s,so much so that HAL have built 900 odd engines for a mere fleet of 230+ su-30s

@@MayankSingh-mu3uo India is not the only country to have an engine problem on these SU30s, Malaysia, which has SU30 MKMs, has almost all of these SU30s broken down, largely because of the engines! China which bought engines for these planes also has problems with the engines of Russian origin, they put copies of Russian engines on their J20 after 25 hours of flight, their J20 are broken!! decidedly, Russian technology has certain technological shortcomings! Since the war in Ukraine, the Russians who have almost stolen airliners for rent have no more room to repair them, even China refuses that Russian planes fly over China, they have stripped several planes to fly the others , but without the parts of Airbus or Boeing since the imports of parts to Russia are prohibited, the planes stolen by Russia will have to stay on the ground !! greatings from France !!

India ranks 3rd in the world Air Power index.. Ahead of PLAF.. jai hind✊
That website also ranked Indian navy airforce as more stronger than entire airforce of Taiwan, Sweden, UAE and many more countries which has fleet of modern aircrafts. Indian navy airforce barely has 50 combat aircrafts. whoever was making that list was high, because he did not even researched properly, total aircrafts shown in that list is way less than the total aircrafts countries currently have! I would recommend you to check global firepower if you want to see actual rankings! that website is reliable for defence related rankings!
Just to give you example: that website counted PLAAF total aircraft: 2045 while PLAAF has 3,285 aircraft currently.
that website counted total J10: 235 PLAAF has: 548
that website counted total J20: 19 PLAAF has: 50+
that website counted total J11: 205 PLAAF has: 440
and most funniest out of all, that website counted Q5 an old aircraft and shown its number at 118. PLAAF currently don't have any Q5. they retired it in 2017.

@@manasraj7700 in terms of Airforce strength India ranks 4th Pakistan ranks 7th. you call it way ahead? you have to remember that India is 7 times bigger, trillion dollar economy and Pakistan's economy is very weak yet Pakistan is only few places lower than India in powerful countries list. on global firepower Pakistan ranks 9th while India is on 4th.

I've never noticed how the pilots are sitting in a no vertical or more upright position they are a little declined, I suppose maybe it has something to do with the g forces

One can only imagine the terror this would strike when on full after burners over Leh Ladakh and Chinese air bases over the border . This is not a fighter you want to tangle with unless you want a bloody nose. And yes its my fervent prayer that when they induct the INS Vikrant on 15th of August , they choose the Rafale - M to adorn her decks ..

@@lamdafriend the navy wants twin engine fighters for the vikrant and the f 18 is undergoing trials in goa rn. F 18 is more battle tested so maybe the probability of f 18s is higher than that of rafale.
Nothing would happen as it requires a lot more than just aircraft to dominate the air warfare. Rafale on its own won't be able to do much!

I am not expert in aviation fuel , i noticed that when su30 mki takes off, video i watched before this video, engine flames were sky-blue or blue , over here Rafael has orange shade of flames from engines. is it because of different engines ?

It's called polarizer/ND filter idk what's the function of those things likely reduce thermal or radar signature

They were on the far east side, Air passage blocked etc but if u compare casualties then India have more casualties than Pakistan. 145 IAF aircraft's drowned in the war whilst 45 on Pakistan side. It's ridiculous!!
Casualties can be reduced by better strategy, Advanced planning and proper war mindset not by having advanced fighter jets etc. If so is the case then US must had won all wars in Korean, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.

IRST is not there. Look closely, its just a dummy Plastic round ball thing/cover. Can someone explain
Due to large AESA radar, the IRST is removed. It will be fitted back during F4 upgrade, till then they can use the IRST pod.

@@bkp22 F21/F16 and F15ex also don't have any inbuilt IRST sensor. The only american aircrafts to have IRST are F18 block 2/3. Do research before comment.

Can somebody tell me why our Indian fighters carry Italian flag on their tail?
Just sign the freaking deal to acquire the rafale for airforce and the f-18 for navy, i don't know what our govt. is waiting for. This deal has been going for ages and they have already reduced the number of acquisition now, I just hope that they don't scrape the deal altogether.
