Keep it in mind that the footage showed by PAF clearly shows all the missiles with only one missile loosing its “Warhead” but even still its IR sensor and the rear propulsion part was completely intact , prooving that the warhead simply buest off after the Mig-21 crashed on ground !

Whenever a fighter pilot shoots down an aircraft , he is supposed to confirm it with its Air Defence Controller , which means that if Abhi-none-done actually shot down anything then IAF has an audio recording of the pilot boasting about shooting down an F-16 , then why hasn’t IAF made that audio avalible to Public ??

The aircraft shown in the video cant be a F-16 simply bcoz the colour scheme of the F-16 used by PAF is completely different than the coloyr of the wing section in that video
Pakistan’s Aircrafts are paimted a shade of grey while Indiam aircrafts, especially Su-30 are painted a rather very darker aspect of colour grey exactly matching with the wing section im the video
It cant be a Mig-21 cuz as you might “not” know , mig-21 is a delta wing aircraft and doesn’t carry wingtip pylons.. it has only 5 pylona , 2 under each wing and one under fuseelage !
Meanwhile the wing section in the video clearly has a wing tip pylon meaning that its cant be anything but a Su-30MKI

Look at that tiny frontal area. Everyone laughed when the -21s were used in Cope India but the Americans found it really hard to spot in the skies. This was during the non BVR part of the exercise.

The ones from 60s-70s have OF COURSE BEEN RETIRED. But yes we do need To replace them, safety not the best or even the engines and these kinda aging airframes in general. But Speak with facts.

And those who are belittling this engineering marvel should know that it was the mightiest jet in its class and is still a powerful jet today . If the IAF's mig -21s fell from the sly so often isn't due to the fact that it's an unreliable jet but due to the fact that India's incompetence in manufacturing and using the spurious spares by our own HAL.
Take a look at the Mig-21s in service with the other air forces , they have relatively less crash incidents reported and are still in mint condition and are flying flawlessly.
India should first master the ability to set up a quality manufacturing process and system than loud and bad mouthing about the Boys' Toys..

The reason many pilots died on this machine earlier was we never had a proper jet trainer. We used sub sonic trainers and post you would sit inside this beast a super sonic machine.
Errors caused crashes and corruption caused more. The leaders ignored this issue for a long time till the pressure mounted to a point where it had to improve the jet trainers. The Fishbed is probably the deadliest of the legacy aircrafts to ever fly. Can be put on the list with Spitfires, Hurricanes, Junker Stuka, Me109 and few more. However, the time for this beast to rest has been prolonged and results are visible
