Summary:
Fashion show Structure
A. Theme
B. Music ( from Bollywood according to theme so people can regonize particular theme and can connect with Frontside model)
C. Lights & Set Designs
D. walk type of models ( walking, marching, dancing, poses etc,)
E. Good Backstage Area with mirror & lights & privately managed.
F. Right footwear, jewelry, dress/ outfits, Hairs, Makeup and Runway for models.
G. Volunteer team fir helping [ dressers, Makeup ideas from magazines like hairs & outfits ]
H. For Makeup, Hairs & footwear collaboration is best with brand so they can get publicity.
I. Collaboration with photographers and video Grapher.
J. Order of outfits and models
K. After show planning, cleaning, pack up etc & most importantly plan for marketing like business cards, websites, catalogs, etc for them to buy outfits basically follow up plan.
L. Publicity plans, social media, press releases, emails, poster & invitations to target buyers and audience and reminders
M. Seating arrangement, snacks & drinks to guests, food sponsors and food should be connected with theme
N. Invitation on day for journalists, bloggers, influencers etc
O. Backup plans for time delays of any participating body of show.
P. Except the Best & just prepared for the worst.

I'm planning a a fashion fair in my country to showcase young creatives and their original work which includes fashion designers, bag makers, jewellers, miliners, perfumers, cobblers,etc. I'm looking to invite independent fashion designers and companies from overseas to mentor them and as well seek support from my state government and other state holders to support them.
I am thankful for this insight on how to make this production happen. My life is about to change before my eyes, an these tips are something that'll stick until the death of me. Thank you!

How can I get the checklist for the fashion shows
Can you do a video on ways to ask for a collaboration and do you have to have a big following on social media for the collaboration can you do a list of brands that do collaborations for all the one you named in the video like shows , jewelry ect
Yes, I can make a video for that. I show all the brands I have worked with on my website designbyeide.no and on my Linkedin page. Almost all brands are open to do a collaboration if it means more sales for their brand 😉
What is the standard number of clothing pieces for a collection?
Oooh, that varies... I normally do 8-10 outfits in a show. How many pieces depends on the collection and the season. Some outfits will have many pieces, and some will just be a dress for example.
How do you know how much of your clothing pieces you should have mass made by the manufacturer ( ps sorry for the spam of questions)
It depends, but usually the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 1000 pcs per color per style.
What about a new brand wanting to do this how would you get people to come ?
You would have to let everyone know about the show by using flyers, posters, social media, radio ads, anything you can do. And you have to use photos and words that grab their attention and make them want to come 🌟

My personal opinion is that yes, youll need to pay for entry. As many invites promote it everywhere.
Hey Ifitumi, thank you for commenting :) No, I don't recommend charging money for people to come to the show. You want as many people as possible to come and enjoy the show. Instead you can sell beverages, snacks or maybe even some items from the show if you want to make a profit. If you want to make a small show I would call it "exclusive fashion show" or something like that to give the impression that it is a VIP, invitation only, special event 😉If you do that you can make it as small as you want. Do you think it’s a good idea to have 4 collections in 1 show ? Will that be fine ?
Hey Rafeeq, thank you for reaching out. I would do maximum 3 collections in one show, unless the collections are really small (like only 4-5 outfits per collection). I did a fashion show at Fashion Week where we showed the collections in one show and it was really challenging because some of the audience started to leave towards the end because the show was just too long. I have done a fashion show with 10 collections that worked because it was at a dinner event and the audience was seated around round tables. That worked because the setting was different.
