    I realize that the centered rear-view mirror is essential for the driver but it blocks the view in a MAJOR way. Otherwise great. THX

    What sort of hp would a 289 in a genuine race Cobra like this prdouce? 350??

      @flyingphoenix113 Před 2 lety +1

      Way more than that. Close to 400hp. The Historic FIA-spec GT40s with 289s are producing between 410-440hp (depending on state of tune) out of their Windsor small blocks (albeit with rebuilds between every race weekend, and with a more efficient exhaust/header setup than the Cobra has.

    GT Cobra vs Prototype Bizzarrini.

    • @flyingphoenix113
      @flyingphoenix113 Před 2 lety +1

      The Bizzarrini was eventually homologated for Group 4 just like the Cobra. The Iso A3C competed as prototype, but the Bizzarrini 5300 (which is nearly identical, sans a riveted body and certain vent changes) competed in the GT class.

      @@flyingphoenix113 In period (1962-65) FIA GT homologation? They did not have the production numbers per annum.

      @@thefastandthedead1769, right. But, 63-65 class is for the A3C. 66-69 is the class in which the Bizzarrini 5300 competes (along with the Mk1 GT40, et al.).
