This speedrun includes everything in Henry Stickmin Breaking the Bank, Escaping the Prison, Stealing the Diamond, Infiltrating the Airship, Fleeing the Complex, and Completing the Mission. It is a true 100% speedrun of the game.
My channel generally focuses on a more casual side of speedruns. With these videos I want to show off cool speedruns, explain how they work, and entertain. Hopefully you enjoy the content and maybe even take up speedrunning yourself, because it is truly a lot of fun!

ABOUT THIS GAME
The Henry Stickmin Collection is a Newgrounds choose-your-own-path classic, reborn and revitalized. This 6-game epic culminates in multiple entirely canon, extremely different endings. Each step of the journey has you choose from options such as a Teleporter or calling in your buddy Charles to help you out. Correct choices will move the story forward, but incorrect choices lead to a fail. If you get to the end on your first try, you’re doing it wrong. Failing is half the fun.
An Old Series, Remastered
The Henry Stickmin games have seen some good times on the internet, but age has not been kind. Breaking the Bank has been completely reanimated from scratch. Escaping the Prison, Stealing the Diamond, Infiltrating the Airship and Fleeing the Complex have all had their backgrounds and sound effects redone!
A Grand Finale
A final game, Completing the Mission, is is featured in this collection. It's brand new, never before seen online! Cap off the series with a game 3x bigger than any of the previous games in the series.

1:49:02 I cant believe not a single person mentioned this, but you were wrong about henry just resting, this is the only canon ending where henry actually died (you can see him go stiff at the end, it was also confirmed by the creators) I feel like so little people realize that henry actually dies, so I wanted to bring attention to it. If you read this please like it so people can see this, its such an important fact that so many people over look.

Fun fact: in the og Steal The Diamond, when Henry took an invisibility pill, Henry would fall off the roof, and then the fail would talk about how hard it is to see when you are invisible. I miss that little text from the game. At least, I remember all the text from my childhood.

I think what makes 1:05:16 even funnier is the fact the 2 guys in the middle get their last rock paper scissors battle in before they die, making it seem like the rock / paper victory was THAT incredible

1:09:27 fun fact about this section: it’s a reference to Puffballs United’s very first game ‘crossing the gap’ which was basically the Henry stickmin prototype; it presented you with the exact same options and had a similar obstacle of getting across a large gap.

Btw, the joke at 7:55 was that the opaque doesn’t mean see-through, it means the exact opposite. If something is more opaque, the color looks more solid. The word they were looking for is transparent.
And I'm guessing the reason Puff added the achievement in is because he got a lot of comments giving him crap for the wording in the original flash version of the game, so he put this in to tell people that it's a joke.

It seems they changed the fail at 14:00. Originally it was Henry accidentally falling off the building because he couldn't see but I assume most people didn't understand the joke being the fact that if you're invisible no light can hit your eyes making you blind until the invisibility wears off.

All of the teleporter uses made Henry really remember so he always got more hesitant to use it until 1:10:07 where he breaks it because of the times it failed him

I don’t think people realize that these games are literal time capsules. I remember being so excited spotting some references, especially seeing the Escaping the Prison reference in Fleeing the Complex!
I just realized, when you disguise yourself on the Toppat ship, they think that you are smith, and send you to see your family, and in the dingy ending the guards think that you are smith off to see your family. 26:23 and 49:05

1:09:25 this part is especially fun because it was based on Crossing the Pit, which was sort of a prototype of the Henry Stickmin games, technically the very first Henry game, which is why there are eight options. Very cool full circle moment, especially since the teleporter is the right option

1:23:22 - The release mechanism is located near your thumb on the right hand.
It's a small button with a missile symbol on it.
All you need to do is hit that to fire off the missile.
WARNING: If you do not disconnect the missile it may activate while still connected to your suit.
Watched the Speedrun, to do 100% myself. At the end, I was missing 3 Bios. All of them were in the Jewel Baron ending scene. Took me like 2 hours to find them

At 1:05:40 I think the wrench upgrading it was a 7 days to die reference because in it you can use the wrench to upgrade things

Fun Fact : The Night Guard with The Glasses is actually The Co-worker of The Mustached Bank Guard Driver. After The Events of The First Game, he decided that being a Night Guard is safer than being a Bank Guard. Only for him to realize, both're basically the same.

@@rxndomfxndom7405 A catapult is a machine that yeets stuff, basically. You ever seen those launchers that have the arm that's shaped like a big spoon, and a rock or a pumpkin or something that goes in the spoon bit? Those. Just like in the video.
Trebuchets are a specific kind of catapult that uses a longer arm, a counterweight, and ropes, so it acts a bit more like a giant slingshot. They've got a lot of power, range, etc. One of those would've actually, you know, gotten him across the gap.

to the left of the camera is glass, the middle is where henry is and the right is the sniper position
the Hammers also make a different sound to indicate what they are gonna hit: a short hit sound with a cracking sound for the glass a dull thud for henrys head and a ringing sound for the sniperbullet.

So many great references in this entire collection. I remember playing the originals on new grounds before it was re-released on steam. Great thing too since flash died, still have a place to play these amazing titles.

The invisibility pill actually used to have a different kind of fail. Before when the “completing the mission” chapter/episode was created and all of the henry stickmin episodes were added all together, the pill made henry’s vision terrible and he fell instead of the camera losing him.

Yea there's a couple of fails that are different! Most of the fails in Breaking the Bank are different as well (I think it's shovel, wrecking ball, and explosives that are different) . iirc puffballs didn't think the original fails were super funny so he changed them to be more comedic / in the same tier as the rest of the game

I feel like 80% of fails in Henry Stickmin are either "so that didn't work" or "that worked a bit too well" and while 80% isn't as high as possiible I love how many fails are like that.
My favorite thing is how many references there are in the most inconspicuous spots. In the big distraction dance alone the ones I noticed were The Harlem Shake, A Hat In Time's smug dance, the Spiderman 2 dance, and the Torture Dance from Jojo's.

This is a bad comparison I feel like
In the Valiant Hero ending, there's dramatic music, emotions in game, and most importantly, it's a canonical death plus the correct way to proceed.
However, with every single other situation where Charles uses his master plan, it's very clearly meant to be a joke, because everyone knows that crashing with a helicopter intentionally is not a very good plan and will cause death (also, his lines from moments before crashing are always hilarious). Additionally, these moments are never canon and always the wrong option.

So I was watching this at work and started singing out loud doing some remedial task and at that exact moment u said “you have a beautiful singing voice”… I stopped and looked around cuz I thought maybe someone heard me n then realized the video timed up perfectly with my life (weird! And also great video!)
I love the JoJo references in this game (the torture dance and the "spirit form") i cant believe one game can have lots of refereneces to all different types of series and games
I think the reason Charles death messes people up so much is because of the subtitles. People see that he has a full line and are sad because they have usually figured out he's gonna die, but they aren't expecting it to be so sudden.
I think the sheer mood whiplash also makes it worse because the entire series is pretty lighearted with one or two exceptions so having Charles of all people **die** in a route that seemed to be just ordinary henry stickmin shenanigans is really surprising.
Which makes the sudden gutpunch of the death worse.
For me it was also the addition of the emotional music in the background, it just made the scene hit harder
as well as the fact that its an ending, which cannot be changed or corrected like all the other fails
@@samthecookielord Yeah there are loads of fails where Charles dies and we just laugh at it like any other fail (such as the other "greatest plan" fails) but the actual ending hits different.

It’s really not that complicated if you think about it. While inside the bag, pull the fringes of the bag inside the bag. Then you can tie a knot to close them off from inside.
The sniper's line in stealing the diamond is actually a reference to the tf2 sniper's voiceline

I love this game, henry stickmin was actually part of my childhood! I actually remember playing ITA because charles was just too funny
so the final ending is for the 1 continuity error that has existed since the 2nd game: who sent him the cake?
the final ending is only available after getting all successes and fails possible across all 5 games. its shown that to prevent chaos from occuring due to the time error, the cake must arrive at the prison in the 2nd game, thus allowing all other endings and fails, without the cake the entire timeline collapses and enters into entropy.
What if henry escaped somehow without the cake and continued like normal??
it's obvious that the Henry Stickmin of the future saves the Henry Stickmin of the past thanks to the chaos that he caused. But that brings the question to me: how the first Henry Stickman escaped the prison in Chapter 2 if there wasn't any Henry Stickman bringing chaos? The package arrived in some way, because if it didn't Henry wouldn't escape, but how? it's sad that this question won't have an answer. Innersloth said that this is the last Henry Stickman Game :(
