- Cycling around San Francisco then Lawrence crashed and broke his bike and injured his wrist. Uh oh.

From an artistic point of view, it’s funny how Lawrence gets painted in the respective vlogs.
In VC’s, he came across as humble, intelligent and sensitive.
In his own he’s modest, polite, interesting and funny.
Yet in yours, he’s cast as the moody, grumpy, arrogant, introverted bellend 🤣🤣🤣

firstly you guys were my quick fix for injuring my elbow and wrist after hitting a pothole at 30mph for this month.
but what happened to Lawrence still his derailleur had to give up. lastly i think breaking your wrist is gonna become a thing!!

I saw you riding out of Sausalito along the waterfront moments before you rode under the freeway (1:31 video). I was driving along the freeway parallel to the bike path and knew instantly it was you when I saw the camera and mega lens slung across your back! Damn, sorry to hear that Lawrence got hurt. I hope he's ok for a few days in Portland waiting for you two to buck the headwinds. Point of note: Always go north to south on the west coast in the summer, bike or car. In our good weather, there is a pretty consistent north wind along the coast. The good news is that it will probably be relatively cool if you stay on Hwy 1 in CA up to Leggett and then on 101 from Eureka north into OR.
As for trueing a rotor, I'm guessing you didn't try MTB shops? I've never seen an MTB shop that didn't have one of them thar Park Tools rotor tools.
Was it just the derailleur hanger that broke or the dropout itself? I guess it wasn't a standard hanger then? I can wait for the tale if Lawrence is putting out a video soonish about it. :)
Just the hanger, non standard and through axel so couldn't use emergency. We're in Crescent City now, today's ride was actually quite tailwindy!
Glad you got a tailwind! I hope the weather holds for you coming up the coast. I'm in the Seattle area and our forecast looks mostly good, hot later in the week, but you'll be Portland by then. It's generally hotter in the summer in Portland than here, so it'll be toasty there.
