Lawrence made the right decision to fly out and get the bike fixed. Hopefully he can see a doc about the wrist as well.
Gut wrenching for you both I am sure as evidenced by the comment "I miss Lawrence...I was about to say the same thing" ... and Lawrence didn't look so good at the depart point ... good to here that the follow-up call found Lawrence in better spirits which in turn helped lift James spirit!! Stiff upper lip chaps and keep on tapping it out!!!
Lawrence and his bike must be feeling better he posted a ride to his strava in Portland yesterday.
I have enjoyed all your vids including 107/107 series. Thanks for all the short cycling stories for they encourage me to ride even more. Wish James was closer for a pro bike fit but I do plan on getting proper fit soon. Hope you feel better Lawrence and come back strong on your repaired bike.
Don't forget to look up Dustin Klein in Portland OR. He's also a CZcamsr and cyclist/artist. He's very connected up there and he might be able to meet up with Lawrence while you & James are still riding. Good luck.
If you guys are going to be in Portland on the 14th you should check out the finish of “STP,” the Seattle-to-Portland bike ride. It’s one of the biggest rides in the country, over 10,000 cyclists ride from Seattle to Portland the weekend of July 14th-15th.
This was sad - we all miss him. Best of luck on this great journey!

Despite this set back; I'm glad you guys are continuing on and hopefully Lawrence can get better in the mean time.

Sorry about Lawrence! He’s kind of like a big kid the way he enjoys the whole experience! We’ll miss him. I hope his wrist is okay.
Sorry for Lawrence. Everything is an experience. There will be new trips and new adventures in the future, soon. Good luck guys for the rest of the trip.
