if a tile is occupied by a zombie without a survivor, would that zombie be considered 'a character'?

I don't like making mistakes - but it does happen. I do try to correct them where possible to ensure the videos are as accurate as possible.

I shouldn't worry too much about making mistakes; it shows us that we can all mess up and it specifically shows us where we can be tripped up in a game. You should view the mistakes as part of the service.
Watched the first video and got confused with the "zombie spawn/tile/zone" mix-up too. But you clarified nicely. Thanks for the great, instructional videos!

I have a few questions, do you have to have ALL 6 survivors on the board in order to play, or can you just have one for solo play? Also, I'm pretty sure but just incase, do zombies ALWAYS hit? And finally, are you actually able to do solo play? Thanks! Great vid as always!😀
You can play with fewer survivors, but the rule book does outline recommendations. You can play solo - you simply control all the heroes yourself. Zombies always hit.

And again sorry, but is it just if ONE survivor is in the yellow zone, but all others are blue, you go with the yellow section? Thanks again!😄😄😄
You are in the zone of whichever character is highest.

When you move is it three times and when zombies are in the same space as you how many actions aré for one zombie and two i didnt get it
+Castledcolt2x When you activate a survivor, you get 3 actions you can take. One of those actions, could be to move one space. Or you could use all 3 actions to move three spaces.
However, if you want to move, and there are zombies in your space, you also have to spend an extra action for each zombie there. So if there was 2 zombies in the space, you'd spend 1 action to move, and two extra because of the 2 zombies. If there are 3 zombies in the space, you're stuck there, because you'd need 4 actions, which at the start of the game, you don't have. So don't get stuck on a space with too many zombies :)
I've been thinking about buying either this game or dead of winter. The biggest negative I've heard about this game is the rule to hit a fellow survivor first when shooting. I saw they fixed that in expansions but I was wondering if there were official variants to change it in the base game?
Java Monsoon that’s stupid. so basically penalize yourself for killing all walkers? that negates shooting.
I think the new edition of the game adopted the fix.
Scenario: Doug moves into a space with a zombie (action 1) then attacks the zombie (action 2). The attack does not connect leaving the zombie alive, Doug then is not allowed to move out of that space correct? Leaving the space would require action 3 plus an extra action because he is occupying the same space as a zombie if I am understanding the rule correctly. Or is there a stunning effect that would allow Doug to use the 3rd action free of the escaping penalty?
There is not special stunning effect from a failed attempt.
@@WatchItPlayed so in that scenario Doug's 3rd move would have to be an attack, make noise, or do nothing (assuming no other players are in the space to trade with). Had he been equipped with slippery he could have moved without the penalty

+Castledcolt2x Zombies aren't slowed down, they'll just enter your space. You may find watching the videos where we show playing the game helps clarify some of these questions for you. All the best.

You don't have to fight, you can leave the space, if you have enough actions to do so (it costs more actions to leave a space with zombies).

Hmmm...am I the only one, or does Doug remind anyone else of Michael Douglas's character from Falling Down.
are there any tiles that dont have a hole on it? (i dont own the game)
