    Nice Work!
    I thought I would hate this game (Having to play 6 characters) , however I actually find it one of the easier games to solo multi handed (even at 6). I think its because the turns are so quick and the actions are relativly simple.
    I tried to play 4 handed Spirit Island once and I think my brain was pretty much a mushy mess after that :P

      @@jonlatino9964 favorite in the Zombicide series? It's cheating, but I would say Cthulhu: Death May Die. Similar level of complexity and tactical play, also from CMON, but more varied and I think more exciting. We have a few plays here if you want to check it out.
      But for actual Zombicide games, this one is my favorite. Original was just okay, with some flaws. Black Plague was a lot of fun, but this has even more gameplay improvements. But I haven't played Green Horde, and 2nd edition of the original is coming, so those might be even better. Hard to say!

    Based on my limited Zombicide experience, this one seems the most streamlined.
    Rough luck with all those spawn search cards, but at the same time this scenario would be much tougher without the character that can control the mech from the start.

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  Před 4 lety

      Unfortunately, in the core set there are only 6 characters, so you have to always use her. But I agree it would change up the feel quite a bit.

    I thought you didn't like Zombicide? I didn't realize that canisters, plenty of bullets, and energy cells can attach horizontally to weapons. I've been putting them in body slots. Glad I watched this! Zombicide Invader is my favorite Zombicide BTW.

      Maybe? I discuss this in my separate review video, but the scenarios do feel somewhat samey, and when the game came up in Shelf Life I ended up culling it in favor of more varied games like Cthulhu: Death May Die.

    This game looks really great but how is it to control All 6 characters at once? It scares me because i think it would become to confusing or am I wrong? And one last question :) do you level up between the stages or?

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  Před 4 lety +1

      Dennis Hansen it’s not too bad as long as you have a system, like putting a token on each characters board after you activate them.
      And no, there is no campaign system, so characters start G the basic level again each time you play.

  • @alextaylor2551
    @alextaylor2551 Před 2 lety +2

    Great video thanks! So a point of order on damage. I thought (at least in the previous version of the rules) that in order to take down an enemy you have to have a weapon that damages = target wounds - and you can’t stack. So for an abomination you have to have a weapon that does 3 damage. You attacked with a shotgun (damage 2) and stacked the results. Is that a new rule specific to this version of the game or am I misreading the rules?

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  Před 2 lety +2

      I just double checked and I believe you are right. Each shotgun hit would eliminate one enemy with 1 or 2 health, and not 2 separate 1 health enemies.
      You can concentrate fire from an attack on a single target to overcome higher hit points though. Not sure if older zombicides did that.
      But if I got that wrong, sorry, and good catch!

    Is this as hard as Cthulhu Death May Die, i find CDMD too hard to be fun lol, solo ofcourse (controlling more than 1 character)
    Also whats the best Zombicide to get for the solo player?

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  Před 4 lety +2

      Generally it is easier, and they also have the scenarios ranked by difficulty, so you can make it MUCH easier if you so choose. DMD is certainly harder in my experience (just played last night and got murdered right when the GOO spawned)!

    low profile ignores your heros. and the sniper rule means you choose the targets. having the abomination as first target makes it easy to get out of a crowd. unlike other zombiecide games were he hides in with all the other zombies for cover. rick and morty for the win. rick has bia tough. you hole team has it if there in the same square. so good and morty has leadership. extra action for one member of your team per turn.

    • @OneStopCoopShop

      Brian Sum1YouNo very different. Nemesis is more atmospheric, avoiding noise and hoping you don’t alert the aliens.
      This one is all action, all the time.
      If Nemesis is Ripley creeping through halls in Alien, Invader is the end of Aliens when she is blasting egg sacs left and right :)

    I had never seen a Zombicide game playthrough till now and decided to give it a go since I was considering buying the game and oh boy, it s so disappointing. The strategic aspect is so barebones. You basically chuck dice all the time, which is a lot considering the ridiculously high number of times you can try per character. This is not only easy but dull. Galaxy Defenders is so much better than this. Thanks for the video.

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  Před 3 lety +2

      Zombicide definitely offers a dice-heavy gameplay model, for better or worse. If you want intense tactics like Galaxy Defenders, probably better to look elsewhere like you said.

      @waferjuice Před 3 lety

      @@OneStopCoopShop i didnt see u splittin them ? i see u just split them.
      What i mean when i say split, is that , if BLOB A have to split, u have to duplicate that Blob A and move them to Direction Left and Right.
      means 2 zombies, splitting 2 directions, becomes 4 in total per side

    • @OneStopCoopShop
      @OneStopCoopShop  Před 3 lety

      @@waferjuice that's what I was trying to explain with my previous comment. Sorry I wasn't clear. In the original Zombicide, it works the way you say, with zombies multiplying if they split in two directions.
      Zombicide: Invader does NOT work this way. Check the movement rules on page 27 of the rulebook. They say you evenly split zombies if they have two paths of equal distance to move. So, in your example, if there are 2 zombies and 2 directions, 1 zombie will go each way. You will not spawn or add any zombies in this case.
      Hope that makes sense!

You didn't even have to stick toghether, running randomly around hte map taking down hordes. And that abomination, what an embarrasing joke. So glad I didn't invest in this. Sticking to BP. Thanks for an otherwise nice playthrough =)
