I wouldn’t be surprised if after Umbara Anakin would make sure that other than Obiwan and Asoka no other Jedi would command his 501st legion in his absence to prevent the bad leadership and unnecessary casualties inflicted by Krell’s command.
Ahsoka comanded half of it at the battle of mandalore, and obiwan also comanded it for a while

I've always thought the Clone Wars lasted at least 6 years where each season of the Clone Wars represented a year. Boy, was I wrong.

It’s crazy to me how deftly this cartoon show handles mature themes and plot lines such as complicated moral choices, multi-faction politics, insidious war profiteering, and the list goes on. I’ve watched clone wars multiple times throughout my childhood and young adulthood and I end up getting more out of it every time. It does such a better job than just about any other piece of Star Wars products at fleshing out the galaxy as a complicated, changing, and real universe
Anakin didnt leave mortis with the knowledge of his future. The father cleared those memories when they turned anakin back.
Also im prettt sure Grand Moff Tarkin knew Vader was Anakin. I think thats alluded to by them both saying theyve gained favor with the soon to be emporer.

Paleo Boy06 No, there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes. If you read any of the books or comics, you’ll find out just how much. For instance, how so you think the Mon Cala joined the Alliance? There’s a story behind that. (Or several) How did the Rebels first get ahold of Nebulon-B frigates? There’s a story for that. What about the formation of their ground troops? What was the Empire’s evolving strategy of how to deal with the rebels? There’s more than just a TV show that will explain that. What about when Mon Mothma mentions how the Imperial fleet is scattered across the galaxy in Episode 6? All these questions and more have relatively interesting answers in Legends and Canon.

Anakin got called back because Palatine wanted the people of the republic to see him as a hero so he pulled him out because palatine thought there was no chance of taking the planet and if Anakin lost a battle they wouldn’t see him as this invincible military leader

Three years is a lot of time. It doesn't appear that way in stable times, but during the chaos of something like war it could uproot entire cultures. WWI for example dashed the idea of wartime valor for almost all countries involved.

I dont know if youre able to remember, but A LOT changed between 2001 and 2004. it still feels like the world is flipped on its head compared to before 9/11.

I really wish that this had been built upon more. TCW always did a good job exploring the more esoteric parts of the old legends continuity, and I can only hope to see Abaloth return to cannon

The diamond-shaped ship that takes Obi-wan, Anakin and Ashoka to Mordis looks very similar to the descriptions of the pyramid-like Tho Yor ships that brought ancient force scholars and practitioners to Tython, who would later form the Je'Daii order. Maybe the Celestials built and placed them on their respective planets, in order to bring the most powerful Force users together.
That is a true possibility, maybe the force was planning everything all along so that the last celestials would die in the presence of the 3 jedi.
that would then eventually bring balance to the force as anakin had to have children, of which Leia had ben and since anakin "killed" palpatine he was brought back to the light side. And palpatine's gdaughter rey only survived because of ben which rey had turned to the light side. And if ani remembered his future he wouldv'e killed palp which means no rey which means the threat of ben would still be there and that may have been the new emperor and for all of this not to happen anakin had to become darth vader and have luke n leia nd allow palp to have his gdaughter etc etc..
With the story of Pong krell and the 501st mutiny the fact that pong krell is against the Jedi lessens the impact of the mutiny

That Neo Crusader helmet might be a Thyrsus Sun Guard helmet. From the art I’ve seen, they’re VERY hard to differentiate (without wider context anyways) and the Thyrsus Sun guard was a more recent operation than the mandalorian neo crusaders
I am quite sure that Tarkin knew Vader was Anakin. One of the first we ever saw them interact, hint heavily at this to be true.

quick note: Umbara is such a important world due to telti being held by the cis making umbara the only way for trade for kashyyyk and many other worlds around 50 and also effected doonuim and many other fuels and materials also effected coruscant's trade. It got so bad kashyyyk over 50 worlds we're thinking of joining the cis right to coruscant

That Kyber Crystal talk just made something click, when the Deathstar fired on Alderaan and Obi-Wan says he felt as though "I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened" what if it wasn't just the people of Alderaan but the Kyber Crystals screaming out when the beam was fired.

The ammount of information was really staggering, and was so complete that you effectively breifed anyone who HAS watched and forgot, who WILL be watching and looking forward to the rich storys and unique charicters and those who may have Previously not even known about and now have a TRUE STAR WARS to fall back upon after Caroline Kennedys Cancerous Ego has destroyed the Legacy Lucas wove with such genius.
Thank you for pointing out there is material that has escaped the Disney Era attempt at eradicating all LEDGENDS MATERIAL. So many people dont realise how the Disney Company felt threatened by all those books, novels, cartoons, comics and Material that created a WORLD with such complex charicters and worlds. The level of backstory, that had the GEORGE LUCAS stamp of approval was such an asset...there were ready made MOVIES already researched, writen and fit into an existing and successful franchise...Disney could have simply created Scripts straight from the pages of the Comics and Novels already embrased....DARTH VADER, VADER DOWN, THRAWN, AFTERMATH, ETC....BUT INSTEAD, they tried to ORDER 66 the Historys and facts.
So thank you....you did well. I look forward to your future post. I have some catching up to do, and ill be checking out all of the awesome Star Wars I had missed.
P.s. can you do a similar accumulation and presentation o all the THRAWN books and comics....thats a really wicked good nugget of old Star Wars that remains for us all to enjoy and ai think your touch to that would be wonderful. Thank you.

I always viewed the celestials as a parallel to the story to come. The chosen one chooses his attatchments over his duties. The daughter is killed. (The fall of the jedi) the chosen one is brought to the darkside. The father sacrifices himself to destroy the darkside. (Similar to vader and luke). The father and son reconcile as well before the father dies.

Although to be honest, there were plenty of corrupt systems in the neutral sector too, and by corrupt I mean, planets that profited from the war and encouraged and played both sides from the shadows. It was still a good idea though, cause neutral parties often tried to calm down conflicts and provide relief and get away with it. It would, paradoxly, help the idealistic part of the Separatist movement, which would also help the Republic by secretly reforming the whole structure

That's in part due to the game putting it's timeline too early, still love the game to death but it's clearly meant to be more in the 10-15 year gap of the timeline instead with the look of the empire and the and characters like Saw Guerra

1: Palpatine as Sidious could not directly control the Umbaran militia like he could with Dooku and the CIS droids. Because of this the risk to Anakin was too great for Palpatine to accept.
2: With a horrendous leader like Pong Krell in charge solidified the 501st loyalty to Anakin as he tried keeping clone casualties low and often listened to the advice of Rex and Fives as he knew they were often right in their strategies.
3: This would also potentially sow distrust of the Jedi in some of the 501st as they watched Krell become a pawn of Dooku and even mention the blind loyalty some of the 501st had for the Jedi as well as disregarding clones as expendable.
Honestly when I first saw this arc I thought Krell foresaw Order 66 and wanted to have as many clones as possible die. But that wasn't the case.

I think that Palpatine never called Anakin to Courasant and it was all a ruse to get Anakin away from the 501st so Krell could simp for Dooku
