Best of luck; look forward to following your journey. I'm on a similar journey, took over seven days to clear 2.5 acres of flat land (sigh), so you can imagine the costs. Finding architect at reasonable costs is another challenge; more than UDS$100K to design a 24 multi-family unit development. Structural and other agencies fees not included. Hope you are fairing much better than I am.

Hi! Thanks for this information :) Do you mind sharing a ballpark of how much the excavation cost? I am having a very hard time finding this information specifically for JA. Currently looking at purchasing a 6 acre land in Hanover overgrown with vegetation but easy access to property.
Hi thanks for watching and the feedback! So I would be super careful because we ran into some trouble with the excavators. They usually require a 4 day minimum but for 6 acres you are looking at about 2-3 days and no more than 1.3m and plus the travel of the excavator etc. look around and shop around in your area. Hope that helps! Check your hardware stores for help as well.

I bought a piece of land 2005 the seller still had the title while I am abroad.he borrowed on the title twice and was reluctant to hand over the title. He had signed a document stating that he had sold the land to me. He went to the title office to get the land back into his possession. Such is the corruption in Jamaica. Lawyers in Jamaica can't be trusted along with other people. If you are in the UK buy something in Spain less stress.
