Great job and excellent narration. You are a good teacher. Thanks!
Thanks 👍
Great job
Thanks
Gracias por enseñar hermano.
👊👍
Good job! I would have made the doorway smaller if possible or moved it over if possible to allow more room for the shower. Also, installing a 2x6 for the curtain rod support would be nice too. 🤠
yeah. this was budjet build. no my call. but yes, great point. thanks
Do you have a shower door you suggest for these or have a video of you installing one on these shower pans with that weird ass lip?
Bro amazing vid. I owe you 6 beers
I’m down 👊
Thank you for the video. We are in the process of installing the same shower and this video was extremely helpful for us. Where are you located?
Glad to help. NJ/PA
This is so helpful, thank you so much. I have a question because i didnt leave my studs open. I have a Mobil home which i had to insulate the walls and i used kurdi board so that it will be totally water proof and the walls would be solid. I’m planning on putting a plastic umm bead board looking finish because it will match everything all around and my sheet rock in the Mobil home is only 1 fourth of an inch i want to stiffen the walls. There is only 1x3 studs inside the walls and 2x6 on outside walls. Should i remove the kurdi board? It is 100 percent water proof. I could always remove if so and just use it to cover the tops of the shower. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you very much.
i dont think you should just make sure to connects to the studs behind it on parts where screws are needed. or just glue the hell out of it hehe. you're doing custom setup so will not be traditional way. can even run think studs on top of hte board but dont think needed. but as long as you have the walls and base or square and level it will all line up and connect just fine. and shower wont leak if all lined up, i think you'll be good.
Thank you very much. I appreciate the advice

What's the point of the sill plate gasket vs gluing the whole thing in?
im sure you can glue. just going by the mfr recommended steps.
Seems like when I put the side panels in there is a huge gap there they meet the back wall any way to fix that?
Will have to add studs or spacers
i had to kick my panels in the front lock them in @@HowToWithLech
How long did it take to install
1 day project. If don’t have to do all the prep work we did
Is an air venting fan needed on a shower? Or not really?
Recommended. But some older homes don’t have it. Crack window open 😉
@@HowToWithLech don’t have a window in that bathroom, building a bath in my basement
What shower door did you install with this Delta Classic 500?
We didn’t do the door
Wow, why did the need a new shower? The old one had never been used in 25 years.
haha. I guess the new tenants are planning too. lol
All that prep work and you still screwed it up. The back wall is way out of line compared to the other walls.
Watch full video. All lines up right. It’s how the house is built. We did that to square it all up
