Interesting to note how a new song is received by the fans. Touched for the first time and live, some people jumping the whole song, others in silence paying attention ... I loved this music since the first time I heard, fucking maesterpiece

It has a lot of double bass and that's his weakest point as a drummer.

I can't believe people still saying that Lars is a bad drummer.
I know, but I don't like people going around saying Lars sucks or he can't play double bass. He's MY IDOL, then they are Joey Jordison, Freddie Mercury, James Hetfield, Gar Samuelson, Nick Menza, Dave Mustaine, Bruce Dickinson and Dave Lombardo
he is mediocre. I love Metallica though, he even says he doesn't practice.
I love his mediocracy, and remember that he has been the inspiration for many great drummers to come.

It's not just about if a drummer can keep up a consistent double bass. There are technical attributes involved with being a "Good drummer." Like something that makes him different from the rest. And I just don't see that in him... Look i'm not saying that Lars is'int a good drummer, He's just nothing special.

An Instant Heavy Metal song classic by Metallica...the riff guitar by James hetfield is brilliant, the bass player is outstanding as is Lars Ulrich the marvelous drummer. He may not be the best drummer in the world but he is still a very hard, resilient one! Bravo, guys!

i dont think Metallica ever plan on writing long songs, they just end up long, they think of all this cool shit that fits another cool piece and they decide to build it up because it sounds good, they never do a long song intentionally, that's just my view on it anyway :P
I can't wait to hear the studio version of this. Sounds great live. Even the first time hearing it live you can really grab onto the melodies and riffs and transitions. Even the verses with the echo in between in the vocals, makes it sound epic. I'm digging this a lot.
