As glorious as it sounds, this guy packs a punch and I can never seem to put it down. Thanks to the folks at Echoinox for loaning this warrior out to me for a couple of days....... I lied. I meant weeks. Jacob if you're reading this, I am sorry this took awhile. I was stalling so that I can keep this pedal for a little bit longer haha.
That said, this pedal does everything. Think edge of breakup tones to soaring lead saturated tones. Even if this pedal was meant for yall Robben Ford folks, it nails the JM tone to the tee. The compression on channel one mimics that of a high wattage D style amp natural power amp compression and honestly that is what I always look for in an overdrive pedal. Don't even get me started on channel 2, that's where the magic happens. Really dark tone but full sound and sweet highs but not harsh. I have many words to describe this pedal but all in all, this is the pedal you want. Jeez I sound ridiculously preachy but I am not paid to say any of this. It blew me away the second I plugged it in with all knobs at noon. I laughed the minute I heard what I heard.
Grazie to the Emilio and wife at Cornerstone Music Gear for all the great work and R&D. This pedal inspires my musical journey.
Hate to see this bad boy go... Hope it ends on my board eventually!

This is the thickest, baddest tone I've ever heard coaxed from the Gladio Double-D! The fact that you did it with an HR Deluxe is huge credit to you. You, sir, know tone!

have 2 LYRs: stomped coupla of my pedals off: and fell in love with the Channel I!!! Soo Stratty Sensitive, I ve been having a dark Jazz period, and found one of my strats really likes bending with a strat tone...!
Its good to have many pedals that you can stomp off/on depending on the guitar/mood....

I would say so! If I had this pedal, it would be on the board instead of the bonsai no doubt

How u feel it’s little brother Gladio sc？ Cuz I want more sound like SRV and robben Ford, hard to choose Gladio or Gladio sc
I think both pedals are primarily going after a dumble overdrive special sound ( robben ford) and not the Dumble Steel String Singer ( SRV ). Listening to this demo, this pedal doesnt sound really clean enough if you really want to get super close to SRV's tone
Hi sir... If you like Robben Ford sound, but also you want to reach SRV tone, the Gladio SC is definitely the one for you... Cause just put the clean knob at zero and you have the same sound as the big Gladio's first channel... Robben Ford), while if you raise it you can definitely get the SRV type of sound... So in this regard the Gladio SC is way more versatile

Nordvang Gravity is a dual channel clone of Mayer’s TS10+Klon rig. If you’re going after him specifically, it’s a good start. Pricey though.
