Lviv is just like first love. It is special and unforgettable. I have been to Lviv city 3 times in total. My heart and mind are always still there. It is a safe and very peaceful city that smells of history. Its people are also very civilized and respectful. I will be there again this summer after 4 years. .I will continue the story from where it left off 💛💙🇺🇦🤗
Радий знову тебе бачити у Львові, Bryce!
The city of Lions! I love your videos and your passion for architecture 👍👍
comment in support of channel 👍👍
Been to Lviv like seven times. Always some corners that I didn't saw before. May have to go some more times.
Весь район навколо вул Чупринки цікаво подивитись, багато цікавих будівель колишніх еліт, що жили в той час.
Here is a suggestion. Might be interesting to visit cities close to the demarcation line. Mariupol and some. I even might be able to connect you with Ukrainian bloggers who actually fought in this war and give you a trip to the zero line. It is pretty dangerous but we now really, and I mean REALLY, need all the publicity we can gather. Won't be shitting in with all the local politics=) but darn we need all the help we can get.
I have been planning a trip there, send me a pm. Thanks for the offer.

@@bryce.walker yes it is, thanks for your videos! )) view one channel in CZcams name: "Ukraїner", this more information about Ukrainian people, culture, history, folklore, traditions, expeditions in other region of Ukraine , etc. Have a nice day 😊 (sorry for my English)
Gretings from Kiyv, Bryce 😁👋
Привіт Данило!
Ремонтні роботи були лише з тої сторони собору Св.Юра і у двір можна було зайти з іншої сторони через головний вхід. Там гарно, варто подивитись.
What’s the vibe like with the whole Russia thing? Is it safe for you as a foreigner? Stay safe
Things are ok, there's been tension about war and uncertainty for about 8 years now in Ukraine, people here are tough. I'm in good hands!
@@bryce.walker Good to hear. I sure hope everything goes well. I am in Germany and we are watching things closely. Again, stay safe
I appreciate the kind words! Thanks a lot, cheers!
Who do you think build this city?
Laskavo prosymo u lʹviv :))
Дякую вам!
You wrong. City was not built during Polish Lithuanian time. It was 80% old city built during Austrian time. Most built by Ukrainian construction firms like Livinski firm.
I'd have to disagree with Andrew. Most of the city square was built (and remodelled) during the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth (most of which are named after the surnames of their respective nobleman). Austrio-hungarian empire also built things such as the opera house. This was sanctioned by the empire but was designed by Zygmunt Gorgolewski and built by the Polish workshop. Ive listed only wikipedia sources to make it easy but theres others.
Im always perplexed as to why Ukrainians always negated Polands development of the city...seems childish. So theres nothing you need to apologise for Bryce since you were right in the first place :)

What BS, most of Lwów’s old town was built during the Kingdom of Poland, just like all of the dozens of oldest churches.
You are wrong. It was mostly built during Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Additionally, during Austrio-Hungarian period Polish people were the main force in the Lwów. They were founders and architects most of the building from that period of time.
Whaat? Lwów is one of the *most* magnificent cities of historical Poland, which regretfully fell into Soviets' hands after the WW2. Ukraine inherited this city from the USSR. That's all about that. Meantime, the city has been ethnically cleansed, so to speak. Ukrainians have *always* been a small minority there, less than *18%* of population before the outbreak of the WW2. Actually, in earlier days, the Ukrainans presence in the city was even less significant. Now, it's just a provincial shabby grey town, full of disintegrating buildings. So much for the soviet and post-soviet taste and care for the once splednor architecture. Anyway, good luck with the restoration efforts, may the old glory return to this place one day.
