How to Cook a Wagyu Ribeye Steak!

- We received this massive 3lb steak from Snake River Farms and I could not wait longer than a day to cook it up.
We used the reverse sear method to ensure we cooked this steak to a perfect medium rare. For those of you who do not know what the reverse method is:
Place the steak in the BBQ on low indirect heat. I used 250 degrees for this cook. Once the steak is almost at the desired temperature remove the steak from the BBQ and then get your grill ready to do some serious searing. The last step is to sear the steak on high direct heat.
I used post oak wood chunks and lump charcoal for this cook. I love the BBQ wood flavor that you get when you cook with lump charcoal and wood. The flavor is even more pronounced when you use the reverse sear method.

The marble still looks a bit under. Mylocal costco sells The same wagyu steak but I keep telling myself that's not The real wagyu. One of The butcher shop had a imported wagyu, small small piece The size of a teenagee's palm for 200 dollars, The meat was almost white and The fat I Can definitely call more thank 70% of the weight and it was distributed evenly. I didn't buy because I ddnt got The bbq shenanigans like yours but One day I will have, and on that day I'm gonna cook a real wagyu steak
