Buena la técnica para cortar el plywood pero definitivamente necesitaba mejor preparación, en un par de años se lo van a tener que cambiar nuevamente. Gracias por su tiempo y compartir su experiencia.
Buen video amigo,yo solo hubiera sellado la madera por los dos lados antes de ponerla para que el agua o la humedad no se pudra tan pronto,un poco más de preparación antes de poner el nuevo piso ,pero excelente explicación paso por paso y muy buena técnica para cortar la madera en mi opinión, gracias

I think in general, this is a Boat load of work to replace a rotten floor in a boat, one has to wonder if the transom is gone too. This is not for the light at heart to take this on. I have scene another video "series" on a kid that did it to a boat just like this and stripped it all the way down and went through the transome as well. It took him like 3 months of hard work. One has to question are the hours worth it? I mean if you do it right you basically have a new boat, but at my age, i find the level of effort to be a daunting task. I personally just made some stencils of the floor and used 1/4 inch plywood painted in sealer and covered with boat carpet to cover (go over) the soft areas and am trying to get another couple of years out of it.

You did not seal the wood at all your running screws straight into the fiberglass of the sealed Hull which is going to give the water a place to come in the original Hull and start rotting it. I give this floor 2 or 3 years Max you are supposed to cover the wood in some kind of resin or at least paint if you didn't glass in the wood with resin then you took all of the rigidity away from the boat you may have put screws in its place but you did not replace the sturdiness with the screws you have to actually
You are correct my amigo he did not seal the wood at all or fiber coated it n he dint used marine grade wood which totally different than plywood he used . Not going to las very long .

una cosa te aria una sujerencia de que te agas un soporte con un brazo como el de las plumas de una nave para colgar de ese andamio los cables y las herramientas para no tropezar con ellas, si es tuviera ai yo le aria un boceto y un prototipo para que trabajes mejor y mas comodo

Basicaly you running screws into the fiberglass ed hull just ruined all the workmen ship of the entire floor and the water will fined it's way up if this boat is left in the water for long periods of time as it should be able too.the damaged work you did will cost these people more than half the cost of the boat if it's done professionaly.why you did that job is beyond me as your comparing it to roofing is enough for me to say that customer only knew...leave boats alone and leave it for professionals that know what they are doing...dang

I give this floor 2 or 3 years Max you are supposed to cover the wood in some kind of resin or at least paint if you didn't glass in the wood with resin then you took all of the rigidity away from the boat you may have put screws in its place but you did not replace the sturdiness with the screws you have to actually fiberglass and resin the floor back in as it was originally and a coat of paint before you put the carpet on never hurts it just ensures that water won't get back down in there and do the same thing again there are many places and creases better unsealed that the water is just going to get back down in there and do worse damage than it did to start with
I have to replace a section of rotten floor in my boat...How do you screw the plywood down, if you say not to screw it through tje fiberglass?
Is there a different way to do this? Im curious, because i would like to do it properly, and not repeat this in a couple years...

Use Penske instead of plywood and never worry about rot again. Yes it costs roughly $300 a sheet but if you want it to last pay for it now rather than redo it later. Screws? I prefer glassing everything and saving screws for rigging and accessories. Screws create stress flex points you don't want.
