I got this injection with 15 mg triamcinolone and 1 cc of 2% lidocaine and last week and laser therapy from medical rehabilitation specialist 3 days after the shot. 3 days after the first session the pain was reduced to 70%. Also it is important to imobilize the wrist. I used 4 cm elastic bandage and wrap around my palm and wrist all the time even when i sleep

the injection should go proximal to distal toward the thumb, you can actually see it fill the compartment

Hello. I just had my injection 2 days ago. How many days will it take for our wrist to function normally? I can still feel the pain from DQT.

I had these injections, ended up having surgery, then one more round of injections, none of which worked. The injections are painful, the surgery was much less painful

***** Hey, the shot makes physiotherapy easier...there is no pain when doing the stretches...you should definitely do the shot. It was painful for like a minute when the doctor had the needle in my wrist, searching for the tendon XD...but he numbed the area and it wasn't as bad...as well as, after the shot, it pained like a bitch for about 3 days, but after that...the pain was completely gone...it was amazing XD :D you should do it
