- We rode our ICE recumbent trikes on the Railroad Grade Road which is a Rails to Trails Conservancy project that runs along the New River in the mountains of NC. It was a great ride even though we got rained upon.
:) your music makes me feel like i'm at a night club and i have had too much to drink.. LOL other than that, the ride was lovely.. lean back, pedal forward friends..
Nice memories. I rode Railroad Grade Road many times on my Longbikes *Vanguard*. Not yet on my ICE Sprint 26” hardtail.
Doug Huffman thanks for watching the video. I’m not uploading any more videos here as they are all going on my new channel BentRider Nation.
Just found your channel. We too ride recumbent trikes are are currently cycling the New England area. Heading towards Maine tomorrow.
PedalPushin AK I hope that we get to ride with you soon!
Beautiful place to ride. My Catrike Villager would look Really good on that road.
We love these railway cycle paths, very beautiful!
Liegerad on Tour we do too!
Wife and I always ride with our flags and lights front and rear, even on trails. Visibility is all important. Like the Da Brims too.
James Barker I agree and the Da Brims help in the sun (and rain).
Ken Poindexter
Yup. They are awesome
@@krpoin I got DaBrim, and the front brim stiffener for recumbent riding
What type of trikes were in this video?
Question...
Editing, how did you do your editing?
Did you film per day and then edit,
Or..did you film your whole tour and then edit it all when you got back home?
How much did you film per day, and so on?
I have absolutely no experience in making videos; but I want to for my trike tours.
great video and ride. what type of brackets are on your trike to accommodate your panniers? where did you get them and approximate cost? also... what was your approximate speed of cycling on this trip? thanks for the great post
Mark feldman thank you. Our rear pannier racks are made by ICE trikes specifically for their products. The racks are around $220 each.
Ken Poindexter ...thanks for the info. Your videos are just super. glad I found your site.been “ binge watching” your work. just did 20 miles on Cape Cod Canal this morning...temp was 23. I am ready for my Florida winter...one month from today.
Mark feldman hey! I have stopped uploading to this channel and now am doing so on my new channel BentRider Nation.
BentRider Nation good luck. I will subscribe to that new channel. Stay healthy!

Safety F, Video recording C, Commentary D. . Confident you’ll get better with experience.☕️🐸
John Schmit,
Let people ride how they want.
You are not the standard to which people are graded by.
The very fact that you graded him shows that you are a either a control freak, or a narcissist; or both.
Hi Ken...
how do you find these different ride to me how do you Google Lamar what is the method that you use to find some of these rides... I'll tell you what I wish I wish I had somebody would build a group on Facebook we're kind of like a business page kind of a thing and that is the place where everybody shares people places and things to ride on a trike this is primarily for trike people recumbent trike people...
I would do something like that except for I have zero computer skills LOL period. I look forward to hearing back from you like I said let almost like a business page you know so people can find it you know I'm that sort of thing it'll be easy to share because it will be a really simple catchy name so people won't forget it
Why speed it up?
And that crappy music////
