When it comes to learning HardOps / Boxcutter there are a couple of paths.
Cylinoids represent a well rounded demonstration of HOPScutter in the context of Cylinoids.
• Cylinoid Saga
When it comes to learning via subdivision and topological solving there is a playlist for that.
• TopoStudy
A playlist exists of all the videos related to Hopscutter on my main channel.
• hopsCutter (in order)
Work the corner is an example of Hopscutter's progression with alignment based workflows.
• WorkTheCorner
This playlist is poised towards user created content.
• H9 / BC7 Content
Corridemo Series
• Coridemo
When it comes to learning from top to bottom the update log content is broken up.
Boxcutter - • Boxcutter
HardOps - • Hard Ops
Boxcutter's helper has it's own playlist.
• BoxHelper
HardOps was last discussed top to bottom in 986.

I hope you upload more product videos (tutorials) like this.
It really helps a lot in learning modeling skills.
*wishes*
you have no more mercy for ngons
the secret is leave it where no ones looking. But have it pretty where it counts.
17:40 I learned a lot while following this video.
There was something that I thought was difficult, but I solved it by following this video.
Now that I've watched the video several times and followed it...
The corner part (bevel) was unsuccessful.
aww yea!
Maan, i love your works xD, i have this obsession with coffe machines too, they are like, the perfect Design concepts and Engineering you could find xD
Hope i can become like you one day :), you guys are all fast modeling
p.s.: you could call the machine, TheLonghi xD
"the Longhi" haha. I might just do one today, you inspired me.
Search for Bialetti Super, that's the coffe machine i have xD, there's even the Bialetti Gioia(You can call those Vialetti xD), these are simple but cool at the same time to me. (really similar for the back part to what you did on the video)
btw, i'm italian if you didn't know :)
The first thing that I modeled in Blender 2.8 was a red coffee maker, lol.
Nice job, it turned out fantastic.
it's a deceptive asset. Got all the little parts in it to trip you up.
@@masterxeon1001 Exactly yeah, but it's great learning oppurtunity / challenge.
Hello, thanks for your videos. I've been trying to learn Subdiv modeling myself so I'm making this model. Every time I get stuck I come back to this video to look at your approach.
You might know this already but something I figured out while modeling this is that you can use the bevel modifier to place supporting edges ( Profile shape set to 1, width amount set to 0,03 and segments = 2 with limit method to weight).
Then I only need to set the Bevel weight on the right edges and after applying the bevel modifier (I did this to see what it does to the model, you don't need to apply it.) I have nice, uniform proximity edges everywhere.
Also I tried changing the edge segments in the modifier from 2 to 4, and it gave a really sharp look while maintaining a bevel on the edge, which I thought looked more realistic.
thanks for the comment!
gooooooooooooooooooooooood!
Realtime commentary version coming? Either way It turned out amazing,
I was just uploading a realtime version except without audio.

@@masterxeon1001 bummer there's no commentary, but thanks! Keep it up !
How did you set up that edge offset bevel on B hotkey? I sometime need to add a protection loop outside of a hole cutout and it's so much hassle in duplicating the edge loop, hiding the duplicate, selecting the original one again, scaling it, revealing the hidden copy and bridge looping those two loops. I would like to simply press B button for creating an edge protection just like you do.

Amazing
When the vertices have slightly different heights (positions)
What about the shortcuts that make them all at the same height all at once?

@@masterxeon1001 thank you very much
Good to see these, something to do in the week-end.
How do you like your coffee?
as water nowadays. I dont even have it as much. I always just "take the sleep" now
One thing I havent pick up on yet is how you do your mirroring so fast. Sometimes it seems you use a gizmo, other times you are using hot keys. Also, sometimes it looks like you magically mirror and there doesnt seem to be any modifiers with the usual hops mirroring. does meshmachine also have some mirroring capability? Thanks for the newest video as always!
meshmachine has an edit mode symmetrize that has grown on me. But object mode im using the hops gizmo.
playing at 1.5 speed makes me itch for acid.

7:42 When the keyboard shortcut Shift + S is pressed
How can I make it look like this screen (pie menu)?
I am currently
Press the shortcut key Shift + S
A different pie menu appears.
czcams.com/video/Jr4h24_OZ5U/video.html
0:50 What is the name of the program that shows the coffee box image on the left side of the screen?

press Q
Shift + Left Click...
As in this video (22:07), the menu does not appear at the bottom.
The circle also has 8 segments.
A menu appears at the bottom like this video...
In order to have so many segments of a circle
What should I do?
practice makes perfect. To understand a tool H for help as well as hover for tooltip.

It is of great help
Yo, yo yo, mx2 is in the play with his real name ok, this time he can count to two, no need to trail the zeros fou, he’s my masterxeon still, just that he thrown in the mill and came up with a shorter bill, so that it will fit the pack as good as Chip’s kpak.
lol wat?
