Sanding, Staining and Barrier Coating a Wood Kayak

In this tutorial we will finish sand, stain and barrier coat this Quick Build 16 kayak. Since this particular kayak is not fiberglassed externally, we must barrier coat for water proofing and durability. The water line of the hull will be coated in graphite in epoxy to make it scratch and impact resistance.
To begin we will finish sand and stain the deck and top coaming. Then we will barrier coat the deck and hull.
