Ive watched this video so many times. It was this one that made me realize i could easily save the $25k over buying a GT-R and go with a Gts-T and put that money into the build. The music at the beginning really goes with the sound of this beast,instantly pumped.
Listening to that sound of the BOV and the air getting sucked in is like being in my own skyline lol. The RBs are monsters of an engine. All the cars that came out the same time as the R33 are probably gone by and flattened out at the wrecking yards. These cars will live on forever. Keep it if you have one.
Mate, they rust like blazes. I'm looking at massive repairs to mine.
@@calummackay8330 nope they are not. I know someone who had an r33 on a yard for 10 years and they were minor rust on it. Even the engine is not even that bad. Need to change the oil, spark plugs and some little cleaning here and there and all good to go.
@sicariodu9546 I am someone who owns one, and know many owners. They rust like there's no tomorrow. Have you considered environmental factors.
The engines are fine so long as they are not mistreated. I've had the RB25DET in mine and I will be putting the same lump back in.
@sicariodu9546 reading your comment again I'm fascinated. You do realise these cars had zero rust protection aside from a little paint? Also altho7gh the engines are OK they are all old now. Any owner who has an example that's seen a fair amount of use will have replaced parts I guarantee you that. I'm not sure why you think an engine made by any manufacturer would only require those items. What about coil packs (famous issues with them on RBs) or even fuel filters? 😆

So now car don’t rust because they have paint protection but before that they rust easily?? Which one is it? It seems you don’t even know what you want to say. I have an r33gtst with an rb25 and had it since 2012 and never had to change the engine and it took some work. There is people with rb26 having 180k km with no problems so your point is false. You said those car rust easily when they don’t. Don’t bring up what the car as been through. Any car will rust if you dip it in shit.
