    Hi Claire, how many books do you recommend using for 1 essay for the references?

    Hi Claire, how long did it take you do an essay at university for nursing and to make it a first class essay please?

      I have literally no idea. It was a while tho! 🙈 I did mine bit by bit each day so couldn’t tell you how long it takes to be honest. Most of the time is spent researching and finding references! Lol! That alone took me hours.
      To make it a first class essay you need to look at the marking criteria at the uni you go to. They will all have different classes and standards they want to see.

    Hi Claire, i’m still a bit confused about how to distinguish the common knowledge and someone idea.

    • @ClaireCarmichael
      @ClaireCarmichael  Před 10 měsíci

      If your work is word for word like someone elses = plagiarism.
      If it's just certain phrases like anatomy and physiology which are common phrases, then thats different.
      Bur if half your assignment is highlighted and copied from someone else that's different.

    This was a really great and informative video Claire and was really helpful as well. and I requested this video because I’m doing my access course in September and going to university next year in September to study adult nursing and how would I reference in my text so the paragraph I am writing a website like you did on sexual health on this video can you do an example of this when you reply to my comment right now please? and can you keep your CZcams channel and the CZcams videos forever so I can always look back on them during university as a nursing student and when I finish university as a qualified nurse please?😊

      Aw thank you so much. I hope it helps!
      For the website, what sort of example did you want me to do? :) x

      @@ClaireCarmichael You are welcome and it did definitely help and the example I have said above on how to reference a website in a text paragraph please using brackets

      @@juliemagambo6472 oooh ok! So in the main text you would write (UK Health Security Agency, 2022) at the end of your sentence. Or if you were writing it differently, you could write it like: “Data UK Health Security Agency (2022) shows that…” which is at the start of your sentence. Then you would add it to your reference list at the very end too.
      I found BCU Harvard referencing guidelines amazing to use! Have a look at that to show you how to write it :) they give good examples too. But obviously, check with the college / university guidelines that you go to on your courses and what way they want you to reference.
