I was today years old when i realized this country i've lived in has everything geo-graphical/logically related stuff. Indonesia be wild....
- coral reefs
- pristine tropical beaches
- volcanic mountains, lakes, crater, island
- snow top mountains ON THE EQUATOR
- a friggin desert with real sands for miles
- a real life dragon
- architectural wonder of several religions and history including castles
- waterfall and cliffs in rainforests
- the classic asian rice fields
- highlands above the clouds like the typical south american ones
- lush rain forests
- prairie/grass plains
Is there anything that other places in the world has that this place doesnt?? Like what?? Lmk if i missed any.
Indonesia is well worth a visit. One of the best cuisines in the world that they share with Malaysia. And it has a very pleasant tropical climate. What was left out of the geography is that it isn't much smaller than the US.
Correct....the spread from Sabang in the western part of Indonesia to Merauke the eastern part of Indonesia....is exactly like the spread from Los Angeles in the western US to New York in the eastern US....

In indonesia basically more 1.000 volcanoes (Active and unactive, on land and underwater sea), if total with mountains in Indonesia = +1.500 - 2.000 (Total Volcanoes + Mountains in Indonesia). Just imagine, near Mount Krakatoa there are more than 30 volcanoes. What about the other? There are even volcanoes in Indonesia that are stacked on top of each other and also close together. Even when you visit Bromo in the video, basically Bromo consists of 6 different mountains. Because it's not only Bromo in your video (Bromo, Batok, Widodaren, B29, Bukit Cinta, Watangan, Penanjakan and Kursi = 9 mount in Bromo National Park)
Wherever you are in Indonesia basically you are surrounded by all the volcanoes + mountains in Indonesia (From west to east), In fact, many only know that on the island of Bali there are 3 mountains or 4 mountains, that's the wrong answer. The truth is that Bali has more than 28 volcanoes.
You will get to know the original form of mount in Indonesia which are very different and even many of them are strange and unique close to each other. Thank you.
just additional info for you, well, rendang food was chosen as the most delicious food in the world by CNN in 2017 and number two is fried rice which is also food from Indonesia.
and Fried bananas were also chosen as the most delicious dessert by TasteAtlas this year, namely 2023.
and the cost of living in Indonesia is very cheap, just $ 10 you can be full all day.

@@kedaikopiomdnxkopi2169 they promote pendet from bali, gamelan they also have. Malay-gamelan comes from melayu sultanate (different from Javanese gamelan). If you insist, they steal gamelan then Javanese gamelan "steal" Gong, cuz its originally from China to be fair. 😁
The way Geography Now presents its videos is beyond annoying. Just some guy summing up facts from a tourist brochure in a screamy, popular way, intended for toddlers I suspect, making sure you understand that he doesn't.
He mimics Jim Carrey.....but I like it a lot..😆
And the Netherlands had to map all these islands by hand . also owend all of them for 350 years. The papua new guinea incident almost started WW3 . As it was a portectorate of the Netherlands and in the 60s a Dutch aircraft carrier and escorts headed to papaua new guinea , to deter the indonesians . from invading several skirmishes took place and many indonesian agents where cought .that should have disrupted local comunications and afairs . as indonesia asked the russians for hel a few sovjest submarines where send to the region to assist indonesia and sink the aircraft carrier . The only thing was the dutch didnt back down they where prepared for the confrontation and it was the United States that interfered and told the dutch to back of . and this was the 2nd time in 20 years as they did the same with indonesia . in the 1947 .
Consequence was a genocide of the papua peoples by the indonesians .
