    There I was thinking, "this is pretty good, but what is missing is a guitar in a case leaning up against an amp". So glad that guy fixed the problem. My hero.

    Thank you so much for sharing. Chris' point at 46.00 is so important to any musician or music student, 'have fun practicing, find something you enjoy and keep doing it'

    The last moments of this video is truly amazing; a portrait in how to practice the instrument!

    Funnily enough thinking about Joe Henderson earlier and how I heard think it was him how he went to each table in the club and played for each table guess emulating those violinists, cool.

    Bob is right though you guys, all the greatest Jazz musicians came from the older years, I think all this high technology stuff is why there are so many Jazz musicians that don't really understand how to play the music. I think everyone's brains are fried from all this stuff, popular music is dead, that's from drum machines replacing musicians, everyone's listening to rap which is not even music, we really don't have anything that is super great and valuable like all the things that happened in Old America, before this high technology explosion wiped everything out

    • @Ilaysax
      @Ilaysax Před 5 lety +6

      You are not listening to the right type of rap if you think that it's not music

    • @Ilaysax
      @Ilaysax Před 3 lety +1

      @@tomscott1741 But you do know that music is subjective. And claiming to listen only to the "best music possible" is just your opinion of what the best music is. I challenge you to go listen to Kendrick Lamar's "To Pimp A Butterfly" you will find that the second track of that album is plain and simple a jazz track with rap on it. You can think that rap sounds terrible, and I agree that there are many rap artists that sound terrible, but to say that the entire genre is 'not music' and that it sounds terrible is just your uneducated and wrong opinion.
