So the Arizona never even saw or located much less defensively engaged the sub who sank her with ease using torpedos that can turn 45 degrees? Imo that's a recipe for WoW losing more current players than it will attract new ones.

Have not fired up the game in a month. Recon it can go for another month I don't really care.
Im very happy with the subs. Though its such an annoying thing that BBs can call aerial depth charge but at least im having fun torping Destroyers at point blank range. So I say job well done WG.
so the curving torpedo isnt a bug, its a preview
So now the most OP class in the game are Subs. Hard to spot, harder to kill and with torps that turn faster than even a DD. I guess this DD main is going to turn into a Submarine main.
I know this is just a game and they will probably nerf subs a bit, but in modern real world submarines are just as op. If not even more. There is a reason why most if not all nuclear deterrant is placed on subs. They are almost undetectable, they can sneak easily to many locations and simply ambush anything and anyone. They are simply the scariest ships (or I should say boats, because all subs are boats) out there. The only unrealistic part of this game is that subs are able to attack from like deeper depths than periscope depth and they are able to sink other submarines (this only happened once in the history of warfare :D)
They are OP indeed, however they have limited speed, air, no guns, no AA, and the haul is paper thin. So having just a Pinger and a couple of limited torps is not all that unbalanced. I really enjoy the new dimension.

I am honestly dreading subs being introduced.
It's already in ranked. Next step will be random battles. So it's already in the game... Facepalm

I admit that what in this game annoys the players, I like it. Everything will end up with people adapting to the new game conditions. My adaptation is very short and I am not crying on the internet. KEKW
@@MinatomiraiX I guarantee that you're in the minority, and that WoWS will suffer with this addition. Wargaming could simply add a new game mode, or add a queue that allows you to select whether you want to play with CVs or Subs or whether you'd like to play with just battleships, cruisers and destroyers, but nah, that's too difficult. They care more about monetisation than anything else. I quit this game when subs became a thing, I'm done with it.
I played one game with subs on the other team. I refuse to play a game where torps can turn and chase me. I'll not be playing ranked at all
The only downside of subs is you are a priority target for the fury of the opposing team.
This was the first Sub replay I have seen, very impressive! I'm sure it will take some time for a dope like me to get any where close to this good, but I can't wait to get started!

You are able to play the subs in ranked battles only right now. The subs you are able to use are for free, just go into the armory and obtain one.

I love this game, but today I got torped out of nowhere and easily finished off with the second set of torps. No clue where they came from. I will not continue with WOWs. Cv's in tier 10 were ok but with subs and super CV's the balance has gone as am I.

Tired of all the whiners jumping in the bandwagon of “I hate subs” without having the first real clue. Fact is some of the sluggish BB captains are finally getting their come uppance for hanging out in back all the time. Sub fans are growing in number.

На форуме WoWS как то писал что подлодки для обычных режимов "команда vs команда" не подходят. А как круто было бы если подлодки (рандомные Игроки) против конвоя (клан)...
Только в кораблях и танках гонят на подлодки и артиллерию. В других играх не встречал подобного нытья.
@@Andrey_A_V хмм... Обобщать ПЛ и Арту , это все равно что искать общее между музыкой и вышиванием.... Как-то давно попадался ролик на CZcams где чел озвучивал очевидное: в коммерческом проекте (ММО) издатель будет делать все для средне-статистического игрока, всем остальным категориям игроков внимание от издателя/разработчика будет по остаточному принципу...

You critics of the submarines, "One French sub killed a fleet of ships in war games off the coast of Florida, what happened to wanting the game to be real?" Hypocritical!
This guy can't even properly lead the target, yet he got 5 kills. I tried sub myself in rank, it just counters every other class when you have teammates around, the biggest threat is the BBs with air ASW when the enemy sub hard spot you with their hydrophone consumable. DD? DD can't even spot you and when you play with your team they just die on their way to hunt you because you can just deep dive and leave him there like an idiot in the open with some HP lost. For a 1V1 vs dd, sure he can kill you with ease in time but you still have your 90 knots torps for the knife fight on the surface if you run out of battery. When you solo with another ship without ASW, have fun, the only option for him is death.
So I have not played in a bout 2 months. Nothing is attracting me to the game right now. There is no hook and bait luring me. My poor armada of T10's collecting dust is port.
Edit: now with the addition of subs and the fact that sky cancer and hybrids are there I could care less. It was fun while it lasted.
This is so OFF. Torpedos from WWI - WWII were NOT guided. They were fire and forget / hope. This is a terrible addition, or should I say subtraction to the game.
The DKM and the USN used homing torps in WWII and they also had Countermeasures against them ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acoustic_torpedo )
For those that are crying subs are OP, remember this, the reason many bitch like they do is not about 'subs', but that the subs do a feat many would be terrified to do, and the crew are all listed in the Paper as they are all put in the article easy due to a small crew, a CA BB would take 1/2 a page so they list the ship and the command staff, Now as for the torps being able to track the target, that was not a thing until the end of the war, but those torps were used, I can agree they should be in T-8/10 as an upgrade, and would not argue that. I see there are some that would love to hear WEEGEE divide the game into 4-5 different rooms and think they need to give that idea a lot of thought, I think many need to fill out the surveys for WEEGEE to add as feedback.

Subs are broken. D D’s having to run from subs magic homing torpedoes is ridiculously unrealistic. Do away with the magic homing torpedoes and I’ll be OK with subs. Also, getting pinged by a sub 6+ kilometers away is also ridiculous. Getting pinged by a submarine that has been destroyed is the most ridiculous thing of all but it happens to all of us. Subs are broken. If subs can have magic homing torpedoes, then any ship with torpedoes should be able to have them too. What is fair is fair.
