The biggest concern regarding health with nuts is whether or not the oils have gone Rancid. Did you test for this? I'm not sure the hexinol correlates with rancidity. Do you have data on this? I've had very fresh looking nuts before that certainly smelled rancid. It's also very important to soak the phytates out of raw nuts and then rehydrate at very low temperatures to ensure the enzymes in the nuts stay viable
