Thank you for a nicely made instructional video which helps to give us a sense of the time, the patience, and detail of a project like this. At 160 thousand miles my 2006 Corolla, (which has been very reliable), has quite a rattle on the pulley side of the engine. I suspect the water pump. I have a new one and will try to change it soon. I think you have a way of teaching which calms fears, tends to lessen intimidation and helps someone interested, begin to feel they can do this, as well. Thank you again.

Thank you for this great video. I just put a water pump in my neighbors 2006 Corolla tonight. While we opted not to take the alternator out - this helped us a lot. Thanks.

Thank you for the tip about the Alternator on how to make it easy to re installing it. It is something not too many backyard mechanics would think of.👍

Great video. Your explanation and demonstration went hand in hand. I appreciate the tip on opening up the bottom of the alternator and the tip on using the new pump to keep track of bolt locations. Thanks!

This is the first video I've seen for this car that actually shows the bolts coming out and going in. Thank you. I now have a better idea of what it takes.

Nice video but the first bolt you put in for the new water pump you should finger tighten as much as you are able, and the same with the next bolt down.
It will make putting in the other bolts much easier and it will prevent The accidental dislodging of the o-ring. That can fall out of place really easily while you are jarring the whole water pump around. Thanks for making this video

While at it, it is a good idea to replace thermostat too, referring to black spherical thing with protruding hose around 10:51. Take out 2 nuts holding that housing and you'll see thermostat behind it

Great tutorial video. I have an 06 Corolla and I think the water pump is leaking. I thought the water pump was driven by the timing chain but seeing this video, I see that is driven by the serpentine belt. So, it doesn't look difficult at all, except for some dismantling that has to be done before reaching the water pump. I will use this video to perform this task. Thank you my friend.😊

very detailed video but you forgot a couple things, flush the system if doing a water pump and you forgot to install the gasket for the water pump.
