Your videos are costing me money!!! Now, here's another item I didn't know I needed until now 😂. Honestly, I've learned so much from you - thanks for all you do and share ❤️

Thank you so much, Athena! Although---I don't want to cost you money! LOL Remember--you can distill with kitchen equipment you already have, although you won't get essential oil, per se---just lovely hydrosol. czcams.com/video/FmRmJS8IRio/video.html

Interesting to watch. And interesting to know that if you have abundant plant material a copper essential oil still might even pay for itself over time. 🌿🥀🍃

I think it could. At the very least, if "something happens" it may be helpful to have for a number of different kinds of distilling. :-)

Love this Heidi! I have dreamed of distilling my own herbs for at least almost 2 decades! The distillers have come a long way and the prices have come down comparatively to back "when." Great video!

I have two of their stills. The design is very practical and easier to use than alembics that need rye flour paste or tape to seal.

Why thank you! It's an old 1930's cottage kitchen. Nothing special, but it works GREAT! :-)

I heard you say the still is from Ukraine. Can you share the name of the company or a link?

Hi, Michele! Yes, it's from a company called Copper Pro. The owner has a few videos here on CZcams, as well. One thing I didn't check out, and I must do this...is what kind of metal he uses for the solder. I was reading Ann Harmon's book on hydrosols and she mentioned that she had purchased a still that was soldered with lead YIKES! So, I need to check into this with this company. Copper Brothers (where I get my alembics) doesn't use lead.

This is the small model---very compact. I think it's 2 liters?
