      Does it keep the wood fibres strong though?
      A lot of DIYers on this channel may have no idea if the dangers of working with brick acid - you introduce it like fairy liquid.

    Why didn't you do that on grass so it wouldn't ruin patio in case it dripped ?
    So do u apply brick acid, rinse off, apply some more brick acid and repeat? Couldn't tell as second brushing looked like it was just brushing the surface without dipping into brick acid pot

    I have a similar set, but the top has been painted (badly) with a varnish which has peeled off. What would be best to strip that with please?
    Loving your videos by the way - am following to learn how to redecorate half the house. Already gone through two cans of foam, but it's a Colt House so I have to be careful about overdoing it.

    • @PaintingandDecorating
      @PaintingandDecorating  Před 6 lety +1

      Brick Acid is a solution made up of between 10% and 30% Hydrochloric Acid, which is effective at dissolving sodium carbonate. This makes it great for cleaning bricks of mortar and is the main purpose of Brick Acid.

    No way is that oak,would cost thousands. Its mass produced teak. I have 3 clients with that exact table that I clean with a jetwash.
