- If this couple wins today, then they win the house automatically. Can they do it today?
The last segment was cut off
UPDATE: JULY 2013: After NBC aired the shows, the tapes were shipped to producer Don Reid's house for storage, unfortually the Master Tapes were ruined after a flooding destroying the shows entire run, along with music and other production materials connected to the show. The Only existing copies we know of are those that came from off-air VHS tapes. - Zábava

Today this Game show would be a hit now in 2011
This is so wild. My ex wife and I were there with this couple from Houston. We didn't win our house, though we did win two days. We were two of 8 couples from Houston, flown out for the show. This was the last day of our taping and a hurricane was hitting Houston as we were in the studios in California. I'm so glad to see this video.
This was an awesome game show, They should bring this show back
@srf1969 Look for a clip called "Doing the Impossible Again and Again". It contains four Dream House wins: the two other couples who won by way of winning games, and two who solved the lock. There's also a solitary bonus round clip featuring a couple who solved the lock, and the series finale, which also ended in a house win.
No, the ending was cut off. This is how I received the video when it reached my hands. The total tended to go over $100,000 in cash & Prizes.
Bob: The D stands for December. and Ladies & Gentlemen....with that last question, the game is finished! With $700....Mark & Carla Phillips, you've just won your Dream 🏠!! 5:44
At 6:16...this style of house must have been popular in the 1980's.
Yea
@c3section Exactly. Dream House really needs to come back. Debt, although a ripoff of Jeopardy! and Wipeout, should also come back. Certain game shows need to have the needs of contestants in mind, and those two really stand out to help out contestants with their home needs and debt problems.
jOHNNY gILBERT IS 87.
hosted by none other than mr. rose parade himself!
True NEPatriot
The house package comprised of $70,000 for the home, $15,000 for the land. Plus the 6 rooms and around $5,000 in cash.....I'm figuring it was about $120,000 in cash and prizes
At the time they've been married for only three months? That means they were eligible for another game show that Bob Eubanks is known for hosting (and yes I mean "The Newlywed Game").
Not to spoil anything, but when Mark and Carla went for the double dollars question and their opponents made a wrong challenge, that was the turning point in the game.
