It's so crazy how LBG has taken over HBG for speedy runs. Ever since the beta I felt like HBG was going to take a huge blow because the charge shot mechanic is just too inconvenient.
It's a matter of things, they buffed rapid fire to do max damage per bullet. For example in world n2 did 30, 15, 15. In rise its 30, 30, 30. Another thing is the heavy bowgun lost its mods mechanic from world. So they lost there free attack boosts. Also, It was very difficult in world for lbg to get low recoil. Now in rise it's super easy to get low recoil using lv1 decos. And like you said, I dont see a point in charging the shots. It seems they also nerfed spread 3. I hope they don't nerf the light bowgun. I saw the capcom Twitter poll for weapons and it isnt a popular weapon.
@@SlayerJaeger Agreed. We'll have to wait and see. HBG certainly lost a lot of features from World while LBG received a ton of convenience upgrades through ammo and decos.
@@PixelPhoenix yep its probably good with sticky and cluster. I was just never a fan of cluster because it requires to much combining and item management.
Spare shot op lol one question I didn't see you do your silkbind move ( R + A where you move and reposition ) in Apex arzuros hunt, if you did do it would it have increased your damage for sticky and slicing?
Yes, it would have. I hate doing the move because it only lasts 30 seconds i think. You should always do it when you can because it does increase your damage alot.
@@SlayerJaeger ok nice yeah definitely gonna make this set, yeah hate it only last 30 seconds or so but at least you can roll out of it early and still get buff. It's good on monsters that move around a lot and you have to reposition, you had that apex azuros on the ground most of the time lol. Looking foward to more of your videos

@@PixelPhoenix I think hbg will still be good, but it needs a large clip size of ammo like 10 or 8 With spareshot.
@@SlayerJaeger I've seen some decent builds with Cluster, but they have very small ammo pools even with crafting from berries.

I smell the LBG nerf from miles away … Better make use of this farming technique as much as we can before it’s too late 😜
I dont think they will nerf it, it's not broken. it's just the monsters don't have much health in solo.
If they should nerf a weapon

hey did u put a long barrel on ur bowgun?
It has a silencer, u cannot put on a long barrel if you want low recoil.
