great guide! i love how you get straight to the point about all the mechanics and valor tricks here, just made the nyrscilla rapid bow and the harbringers battlebow (if i remember the name right, its the heavy based bow). both are great, need more practice with heavy tho !
Hey man I'm coming back to mhgu and wanted to pick up the bow do you just use the aim with R or do you do what other players say which is just face monster and fire because I seem to struggle to get into the bow but really want to.
I can’t decide which is the best, I do like the yellow version of the rajang bow because level 1 is pierce, I see a lot of people using the nersycilla bow..also I think they nerfed the light & courage bow, what’s a good bow?!?!
Diablos coilbender and bloodbath diablos's bows are pretty good imo, if you have a set that at least gives you negative crit, pierce up and bloodlust, (mixed bloodbath diablos/glavenus x + gammoth x helm gets you this) weakness is that you can only use 1 coating. . Amatsu bow is also nice, and can use many coatings, really good if you have a set that gives you normal up, chain crit, crit status/crit element, expert and/or stamina drain/dead eye (zinogre x/gx sets get you this) this bow completely destroys Ahtal-ka or any other monster weak to water and sleeps/poisons/paralyzes any monster several times per hunt I'm still kinda new to bow so there might be better combinations and skills.
the default controls for bow in GU are so weird. I have been playing Freedom Unite and wanted to try bow in GU and it just felt completely off. Just have to do some control changes and I should be good. FU controls feel just right. x to shoot, R to show trajectory, and dpad to aim.
I prefer the gu ones, because if ur charging the arrow by holding x and suddenly u have to roll dodge, pressing a while holding x isn’t that comfortable
Hey ApexSlayer, this is somewhat unrelated to the vid but I have a question. Do you know any good ways to get alatreon webbing(break wing)? After 5 trys at hunting HR alatreon and getting nothing, maybe I'm thinking I have to sleepbomb but I'm not sure how to go about that.

Does valor mode evasion have more invc frames similir to valor hbg? Trying to consider the dodge benefits as opposed to valor dodge in regards to bow

they are really hard to break if u are using a gun just keep shooting at them. i would also try to sleep bomb them if u can.

Send out your meownster hunters to hunt gypceros every time he pops up. You will get tons of dash extracts.

Can you do top 5 of every element/status and raw best bow of mhgu. I just started to main bow and need some idea and goals for some element bows.
Will take to long the best thing u can do is download mhgu dex and filter them to the specific element/status u want
How is the dps compared to valor HBG?
im not sure but i think it does more damage then lbg
