Agreed. Unfortunately, I don't think they will make any significant SBMM or EOMM improvements.
@bigjimstream Most of the issue is their servers and their net code. I highly doubt Microsoft is gonna invest heavily for the first 10 years, they spent billions acquiring the the companies and they need to recoup it. We might get lucky and they loosen the sbmm side but not the eomm side. Resulting in an artificially random feeling matchmaking lol
Anti-cheat will never be fixed, and servers will never be fixed. But the money will NEVER stop flowing, so why would they care?

It’s to the point where I realize they won’t change the gameplay side of SBMM. But having their servers so bad because of it is intolerable
I would be nice if they worked this quick when players show concern about server crashes and bugs in the game 🤦
Hopefully they address the sbmm/eomm, the crap servers, and the rampant cheating.

With SBMM still being a thing, Ranked has to be perfect or this game will fail.

What about the anti-cheat? Current COD multiplayer and warzone is flooded with cheaters/hackers to the point of absurdity. It’s not fun to play anymore. What are they doing about it for Black Ops??

tbh i think that this is bad news for treyarch and the black ops series because every engine had its own charm and kinda competing against each other reaches to greater heights. now that everyone uses the same engine i think many corners will be cut and the competitive aspect of creating a game from each developer tryin to release the best cod will decrease. we´ll just have to wait i guess for bo6 but to hear from treyarch that bo6 is the first game they made on the unified engine is kinda unsettling. sorry for my bad english pls dont murder me for it.
theyre all still pushing to make the best game, they just dont have to waste time redoing things for their own engine now
@@WhosImmortal well the last cods been kinda meh. maybe now is the turn for better cods with the unified engine but i still dont think thats the right way. if each studio has the right time (like 2-3 years) to make a cod i still think its better that they redo certain things on their own engine. i mean it worked perfectly till 2019.
They did a horrible job with Zombies on MW3, but I'll still hold hope that they can redeem themselves.

I always preferred the feel of the Infinity Ward games, but liked how Treyarch seemed more open to player feedback.

Dude warzone is what 5 or six years old ? How is it in the worst state it's ever been? Terrible servers awful anti cheat stale gameplay and it's practically dictated by ping you can't literally put a full clip in someone but on there screen they are not even broken. But it's not like warzone is brand new lol it's gotten worse over time it's incredible

For me the problems were always maps.. 3 lane maps might solve the issue of getting side killed all the time, as long as the spawns are okay.
