I've always loved drawing & appreciate all types of art. Graffiti art was something I wish I could always do . I could never get it down. But damn these are some great pieces to look at

Ok John serious question, In a book I read it suggests bringing up the topic of graffiti by showing movies. Do you think wild style, beat street, against the wall, and the getting up documentary are good expressions to the art form?

Hey! I just had a little question. Some taggerst add “one” or just “ne” to their name as example: weckone ,sanone, and more.
Is this supposed to “show” that something happened to them or something?
Nope it's just part if their names like phase2 , taki 183 , stay high 149 or it can be a secondary part of their name where they can CHOOSE to put it on their name or not. An example is myself, where I use DR. Grim, grim one, Grim oner but my tag name is grim .

I have an idea for video. 'Is it important how long you have been doing graffiti? ' because I often hear people saying, you have to respect (you cant paint over) this writer, hes been doing it for xy years... but I thinks what matters is the skill. I dont care if he is doing graffiti for 20 years, if he is still bad (we know there are many such people who refuse that graffiti has fundamentals). If I can do better work than him then I will go over him. Nevertheless, if a person is good at graffiti and is doing it for a long time, it only makes me appreciate their work more. What do you think?

sometimes i see a piece so well composed, with so much thought put into it, that i feel like its wasted talent. would like to see more meaning conveyed in graffiti, something that goes beyond "here's my name again"

That first Kaisy piece is siiiick! I like the little G stuck to the top of the Y, like its 'Kaisy G'. No clue if thats intended, but i love the idea of shuffling letters within a piece. To make a puzzle out of it, or to just fuck with whoever is reading it.
All the pieces are sick, beautiful stuff with powerful 'jumping' composition

I picked the name Grim for graffiti because my last name was Grimm, then realized grim is common as hell
Yeah it's super common but there are no legends named grim so you can still use it. It's a good name dude, I say go for it because legit iv never heared of a name that others didnt also have no matter how unique. I say go for it dude
