- Opt Lasers, the godfather of all laser companies, was kind enough to send me a PLH3D-15W to mess around with. Jimmy Diresta, the godfather of all makers, was kind enough to send me one of his Jimmy's Workshop Toolbox Kits. I needed a toolbox for all the printing press tools so it was perfect. This is the marriage between the two, officiated by yours truly.

I have the big boy 15w laser that has 3X 5w laser diodes focused to a single point, but there are other smaller perfectly capable lasers. You can mount them to any sort of CNC platform you'd like!

This is a well designed tool box that was improved to fit your specific needs. The chisel holders on the side are so smart, and embedded magnets are always welcome!

I also love the idea of the holes to see the tool tips. I will use that idea to make a nice box for my carving chisels
Yeah I'm quite proud of that one! It protects them, but they're visible so it's easy to see what you're grabbing.

I always love your stuff! Can you confirm what's happening at 4:18? I suspect we see the final cut material resting on a scrap spoilboard as it's a through cut?
Thanks very much! That is a metal honeycomb used for through cuts on the laser. It’s tall enough that the laser is out of focus by the time it hits the surface below the honeycomb so minimal damage is done to the CNC spoilboard.
