I’ll have to send you a photo…hard to imagine anything prettier. One of our favorite stops in Cape Charles (didn’t make the cut for the video) is a photographer’s gallery. He takes his photos from an ultralight plane. The beauty of the shore is amazing. The sea grasses change color with the tides. One time we went out on a boat for an eco tour and I thought I was living in a National Geographic special!

We loved getting some up close and personal time with you and had so much fun on the ride with everyone. Plus the free peanuts in Virginia are great. Still sorry there is no money.....😢😢 but our time with you all was priceless. And.....I did not bring the storm. 🤪

Weather is always a issue. We had trips in the past that the weather man said no rain for a five days . Two days later we had a monsoon, flooding couldn't ride pulled off to a high area and waited it out. No fun riding in the rain. Always best to pull off and wait it out. Glad you both made it home before that storm hit because the east coast got hit. If you stayed most likely the rental would have flooded. Thanks for the video love it

All you can do is......plan for the worst and hope for the best. I always side on the side of caution. That bridge looks very cool. I just get nervous on bridges that have steel mesh surface. Just a personal thing.

We ended up taking our 13'2" RV thru there. That was even scarier lol.
Nice video with friends, and is always good to have a plan B better safe than under water, fun fact Montreal , Canada is an Island and u need to cross at least one of the bridges to get out of the island or ( 1 tunnel) on the north shore of the island you cross into Laval which is another island and need to cross a second bridge to be back on mainland. We cross bridges all the time and have fun doing this . Alain and Yellow

John, you know the saying “ better to be on the ground wishing you were flying than to be flying and wishing you were on the ground. You can apply that to motorcycles equally. Good call on your trip. Ryde safe my friends!
Worst case, if the CBB&T was closed, most likely the Bay Bridge would be closed as well which means following US13 into Delaware to US40 or I95 and head south. Loooong way around.
Nice trip, sad mother nature had other plans. Y'all made a good decision to leave when y'all did. We are just north of Maryland and it rained for days up here..

We drove 300 miles to the beach in Florida, the next morning they evacuated the campground because of a tropical storm.
Hope your “plan b” turned out ok!
