Should the Steelers bring back these wild throwbacks?! The offense started slow but slowly began humming behind an iconic Barry Foster performance of 179 yds and a great game of the supporting cast. Eric Green reminds me of a brand new Steeler named Darnell Washington. A rare combo of size, speed and athleticism!

The 90’s Steelers were a qb away from greatness who knows how many rings we would have if we drafted Marino in 1983 😭
Still can't believe we lost to the Chargers 😢
AMEN!!! 👍🖤💛✌️
O'Donnell had a nice season in 1995, the Steelers offense that season threw the ball all over the field and O'Donnell was the guy who led them down the field with nice passes, especially the sideline throw to Ernie Mills to put them on the 3 yard line.
And he also had a nice game in that 1994 AFC Championship going 32/54 for 349 yards and 1 td pass.
Everyones memory is skewed though because of the ending but #14 did his part in that game for the most part, it was the defense that was trash and lost the game to a sh!t Chargers offense.
@@manhalen7046 the 1994 game vs the chargers was a 13 to 17 game.the defense did decent enough to win if the offense can only score 13 points most likely they are going to lose unless the defense pitches a shut out.I watched the whole game and I definitely wouldn’t blame the defense for losing that game.the offense couldn’t score from within the 10 yard line in the last minute of the game and that’s why they lost imo….next years the 1995 afc championship game was the first Steelers game I’ve ever attended I will never forget how much the stadium was shaking and how loud it was after the win!! We had so much fun blasting a white van with the colts logo painted on the sides with snow balls as it crossed the bridge into town after the game it musta been hit with a1000 snow balls at the very least!!!im sure the owners and passengers will never forget!!
It’s too bad the Steelers didn’t finish 2-14 in 1988 to draft Aikman. He would’ve been perfect this decade QB-ing those teams. The Steelers were 2-10 at one point holding the second pick in the 1989 draft then won three of their final four games to fall out of the top five.
I loved the defensive line of Buckner, Steed and Seals. All were big and perfect in the 3-4 defense.
The 94 steelers were a force to be feared. The best rushing attack in the nfl, least turnovers commited, and of course, the pass rush nobody could stop
When you remember that Steelers special teams has hardly changed in 30 years
Those were some big power backs! Foster, Morris, and John L. Williams. And wow that linebacking core with Greene, Lloyd, Kirkland, and Brown!
That '94 team could dominate the line of scrimmage, but their mediocre offense did them in at the end. The '95 team had a much more explosive offense which led to a Super Bowl appearance.
I was at this game. I remember folks in the stands said the jerseys made it easier for Neil to target his receivers lol
Thank you so much for the upload! Love seeing my 2 favorite Steelers free agents ever John L Williams and Kevin Greene have such great games! Always a big fan of Williams even when he was with the Seahawks. He is just the prime example of a modest player who works hard!

Good find! Thanks!
If the 90 Steelers had a real QB we would have at least 2 maybe 3 more rings
That linebacker corps...Lloyd, Brown, Kirkland, and Greene. Nasty.
Wow I must have missed this game all together. I don't recall ever seeing those bizarre looking uniforms. But that wouldn't have been enough to atone for the opening 95 yard kickoff return that our ST gave up. Fans were chapped. 😆 Good thing we won the game.
They working that right side on the ground Geesh
So in 2020-2021 the Steelers had an official eBay account where they were selling blank pro cut jerseys from the 70s all the way to recent ones. These ones were the highest priced at around $800 simply for a blank jersey. Extremely limited amount and sold out. Likely the last opportunity at someone finding an original version of these
OMG the speed of Woodson on that almost kick return TD 😊a thing of beauty
I honestly kinda liked that throwback jersey when I saw it on photos and videos. I want to see them bring it back and wear it again sometime soon because it makes their jerseys so unique, but in a good way.
^ the only thing I don’t like about this throwback jersey is that there’s literally no other design (not even any black lines or anything) on the back, just the jersey number and names. I wish they could add something cool on the back with their numbers and names, at least like the Steelers logo or even the terrible towel icon on the back
1994 NFL Season was awesome. The different jerseys and the refs wearing the old school hats.
Loved those uniforms ❤❤❤❤
these videos represent.
Barry Foster and Bam Morris playing on the same team?! My gawd!
It's so weird seeing Faulk on the Colts! I remember him being on The Greatest Show On Turf!
"And just a great block by Yancey Thigpen." Some things never change.
Can't believe I don't remember those referee Kangol hats......they should bring those back!!!
I was at this game, & THEY SHOULD'VE JUST STUCK WITH BUBBY!! JKJK🤣🖤💛✌️
I wonder what ever happened to that Marshall Faulk guy....;)
Look at that rock hard astroturf.
I like the refs hat
2004 and 1994 were the what if years . the Steelers losing both AFC title games at home . I believe if the Steelers didn’t look past San Diego in 94’, they would have beat the 49ers , cowboys and broncos in 97’ to have been a dynasty cause those players who left might have stayed .
It amuses me today when Steelers fans think Eric Green was some average player. There was nothing average about him. Fans in the know are “HOPING” Washington is the next Eric Green.
he was a total freak. honestly same with kirkland covering guys 25 yards down field at 275-280
Need one of them jerseys.
#steelers 🏈💪
O'Donnell was in the middle. Never bad enough to bench, but never good enough to win with.
I can't believe a Walmart brand used to make NFL jerseys 😂
Geez, how deep was Pittsburgh at power-RB? Foster, John L. Williams, Bam Morris, and one other back I think.
5:30
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My oh my was football much better then
Thomas O’Malley
And to think this squad lost to the Chargers in the AFC Championship game.
Those were some really bad jerseys. I think it had to do with how cheap they looked like a high school jersey maker made them. Foster was just fun to watch was sorry to see him go the following year.
Back when our ST were trash. Lol
Still is 😂
