Loved this video! I used to work at the U of T Bookstore back in the mid 1990s thur the early 2000s--one of the coolest places I ever worked. I used to work on the first floor, which then was all textbooks. The commraderie I had there with the 7 or 8 coworkers on the textfloor was unparalleled, we were like brothers, we hung together, partied together, worked together. The whole month of September, which we used call "the Rush", the store used to be open until 9-9:30 pm weekdays . We could work, sign out, go to class, come back after class and re-stock the shelves. etc. Then in early October after the so-called "Rush" of the new academic year, the bookstore management used to host a catered beer party for all staff in the loading-dock/receiving area of the St George store with copious amounts of beer, food, pizza. Towards the end of my time there, I worked in the then recently-created E-commerce division and was a weekend store manager (they used to be open on weekends year around). Thanks for allowing me to revisit those cool times!

Hi Richard, I'm thinking of purchasing an iPad for uni, and apple has this university student discount and apparently giving you a free AirPods if you buy a tablet. I wanna know, if you have any idea about this, if the book store has such discount or is it better for me to buy it at an apple store instead.
How did you earn tbucks? It takes me forever to gain them. Or are you loading tbucks on your own card? What's the diff between using tbucks and a debit card?

Wow!! compared to this Waterloo's bookstores sucks. It is like a small store compared to uoft which would be an entire mall. I wish I was in UofT
