My wife has this tablet and she lives on it. I was really worried when her tablet went down because right now I couldn't afford to get it fixed or get a new one. When she gets off work, we will talk about how her day went and then she would go straight to her tablet. I did what you said about the battery and her tablet came back on. My wife has been treating me like a hero ever since I got her tablet back to working. Thank you so much.

You saved my wife's sanity during self quarantine! She dropped her tablet last night. Your instructions are spot on. My only difficulty was getting the back off of the tablet. The fix required seating the video cable, then removing the battery cable for 20 seconds to get it to reset. Powered right up. Thanks for taking the time to post this!

I'm going to guess it's because his hands are off camera for the most important part. Releasing the plastic clips. I've watched both of his videos and don't see where the clips are or how to release them. I've spent the last 40 minutes mangling my digitizer, metal+plastic pry tools, and fingers and all I've done it partly separate the digitizer. And if you haven't tried to take this specific model apart please don't reply just to save face.

You just made my day. I'm so happy!!! I was so scared to open it that I would have spent $250 on another until watching your video. Thanks for the courage I needed to take that step. It wasn't easy getting the back off but when I did I followed your lead and all it needed was to unplug the battery and reconnect. Its now working beautifully. I have the 8 inch version as well that hasn't worked in over a year. Guess what I'm doing next:)

Hello Sir, thank you so much for your tutor session. My tablet was blank, no display, no power. I opened the tablet as you suggested and re-connected the battery connector and PRESTO! It works now!!!!! Thanks so much!!!!

OMG it works. Thank you so much. I have a Samsung tablet and been dead for years. When i took it to the repairer, he was ignorant and just asked me to buy one because he think it would cost half of the price of the new device. Then this tablet just sitting there in the back of the driver seat in the car for year until today i checked it again and watch your video and voilla it works.

Brilliant video. Fixed my Tab A 10.1 that had the exact same issue as shown here, a loose screen connector. Wouldn't have been able to do it without this tutorial.

This solved my problem, thank you so much! I first tried all of the usual solutions (hold volume down + power buttons for 15 seconds, etc.) but nothing worked, then I opened the case and followed this video. The screen connection cable had slipped out a bit, almost identically to how it was shown here. Once I pushed it further in, reconnected the battery cable and connected the charger, it all worked. Brilliant!

It's sad that electronics manufacturers are making their designs so poor that an expanding battery can cause a ribbon cable to pull out. Sorin shows us that most of the time it's not something very difficult to repair. I really enjoy when it's the motherboard or something complicated because then you really get to see Sorin's talents at work. Smiles.

I followed them step by step with a couple of butter knives and tweezers and I managed to fix mine😊 I'm so pleased it's finally fixed even though I did manage to take a few chunks out of the cover with my butter knives but I am just so pleased it's up and working again. I've been trying to fix my son's T700 for a few weeks as it wouldn't turn on or charge, just no response, even recovery or download mode. Tried a new charge port and a new battery. Nothing. I saw this video and disconnected/reconnected the screen, which is a snap fit, not a ribbon cable. Put the battery back in and plugged it in - the screen came on & it started charging! You have saved me the price of a new tablet and I've subscribed. Thank you.

thanks a lot, i had my son complaining about his broken tablet, check in a lot of useless channels, until i discovered this one, actually i didn't have tools at the moment, then, i used a knife( not recommended) but it works. you have won a new subscriber.

Nice - saved me from buying a new tablet for my children. One of my children jumped on the tablet and after that it stopped functioning. No sign of any activity whatsoever. After opening the tablet I saw the reason. Battery wiring had jumped out of connection nest. Thank you!

I fixed my charging issue by just disconnecting the battery and holding the power button for a minute with no battery connected, worked like a charm. Typing this review on it.
