This video shows you how to install a new alternator from TRQ on your 2012-2017 Toyota Camry (2.5L). The alternator in your vehicle powers the battery and electrical system while the engine is running. If your alternator is failing, you may wind up with a constantly draining battery.

This was extremely helpful for me. I have a 2017 toyota camry se 2.5L and your step-by-step instructions especially with the diagram of the serpentine belt really helped for me to get the job done. I only have a few other comments and suggestions. Some of these parts are being removed for the first time so they're not quite as easy to detach. Threading that top bolt took me 1 hour too! What helped was inserting something smaller to try to figure out how to align all the holes. Maneuvering around isn't so easy either and its hard to have the right angles for certain tools especially when you have to add multiple adapters to the socket wrench. For example, my oil dipstick and the wires made it difficult for me to remove the bolt for the bracket. I had to remove the dipstick and taped it so nothing would get in. Maybe mentioning a few tips in regards to these comments would also help. But honestly, one of the best videos I've seen on replacing a part or car repair. Thanks again so much! I don't have to worry about my car stalling on the freeway again! 😅
