Its a 2012 - Original Alternator. However the vehicle had 108xxx miles on it upon replacement. I replaced the alternator in 2021ish. Its difficult to gauge lifespan of these, especially with it being almost 10 years old at the time.
@@dashautorepair that's it?? You had only gotten out 9 years with 108,000 miles on it??? My OEM alternator had 216,000 miles currently on it and it literally died just of couple days ago on my 2012 Camry. I gotten few more years however many more miles out of my alternator luckily apparently.
@@kbernieshoW the OEM alternator is the Denso brand that Toyota uses. My Denso OEM alternator lasted 12 years and 216,000 miles. I am very lucky. Sorry for you :(
Sometimes you gotta wiggle it out a bit with some force. If you use a pry bar, or flat head, just be careful you aren’t going against something that will break Good luck!
Really any are ok, most remanufactured alternators come with a lifetime warranty. It’s such a quick job that it isn’t too much of a hassle to swap if needed.

Replaced mine today with 188,000 on it. Went well but the 14mm lower bolt fought me from about halfway in to the finish line.I won the fight !!

Drive mine 4 years lol 😂 but I had bought it when it had 87900 miles and one owner no accidents. Now at 138k I had the alternator issue

Any parts store works. The MAJORITY of the time, I go through rockauto, or my commercial advanced auto dept.
