...and a tribute to Joe Hisaishi, the composer!
absolutely!!!
The music of his is just magic
F yeah!!
@@969dramstik he is a musical genius
what? he died??!
I wish I could live in this world.
I know right 😭
No meme reveiw in that world. It's too primitive for survival.
When Jesus Christ comes back, He will redo this current world into a much better and magical world. It will be a far better world than what we could ever draw up or imagine.
To be a partaker of His new world, just give your heart to Him.
Myazaki creates the worlds he wants to explore.
@@corygeorge9548 yeah right
The key to Miazaki's magic is Joe Hiashi's divine compositions. The painted backgrounds are gorgeous, but its the floating, somber melodies that bring me back to those magical worlds.
I agree. But when I listen to the music alone, I see the scenes vividly in my head- exactly what happens when that part of the music plays in the movie. I think they complete one another. :)
@@dreamingblue3939 I do the exact same things when I listen to the soundtrack, I can see the scenes unfolding in my mind. When I listen to Sixth Station, I remember Chihiro getting on the train with No Face.
That's so true man! 💯
Everything my friend everything, the love and hard work they had put in it.
Bobby Chan exactly ❤️
When this man passes I will cry like I've never cried before. I really hope that another skillful hand may carry on his legacy..
Cry a tear of joy that you could share the time when he created these things and shared them with all of us.
true that
He can never be replaced, his work along with the others who contribute to Studio Ghibli's movies are just too amazing at their art, as I like to call these films.
When you create Something beautiful you never really pass ,,,
Be happy not that he will die but that he lived to create the music that we can listen to until we expire.
And people say magic doesn't exist...
Imo mama magic.
It's magical when you watch all the movie & you feel like you are in it.
That is nit magic, that is animation
I was expecting this to be 50 hours long!
AM I RIGHT?
XD
I wish
The fact it isn’t is sad
I wish there were 50 hours worth of his films
@@abandonedchannel281 too bad bucko. Copyright laws iz a bich
The only director in the universe that I love all of his movies
ALL OF HIS MOVIES
Mr. Miyazaki and Mr. Hisaishi are phenomenal.. I am in awe. To see these films in our lifetime is a blessing from God himself. The emotion evoked from each film and musical score is just.. breath-taking.
this video gave me chills. like literally from beginning to the end.
Too*
WasabiiBean no...?
The amount of work put into human psychology and symbolism in these things itself is .......
Japan does have a unique understanding about destruction, for many of Miyazaki's movies it does show that.
Am i the only one who wants to cry while watching, because it's so genious?
Don’t worry 😂 I definitely cried. The music and the shots are so moving I can’t help it ❤️
Yes
It’s not just you. This made me cry: it’s so perfect and magical!
I cried when I watched it
The 'Arrietty' scene when Sho was reading in the field surrounded by trees, flowers... that was stunning too.
It wasn't created by Miyazaki.
@@Varies16 He did co-write the screenplay so he helped to create it in a sense, just like Whisper of the Heart and From Up on Poppy Hill. But because he didn't direct them, I agree with their exclusion from the video

Without music it is incomplete
I wish I could live in Miyazakis world.
I'd love to man.
No you wont
Ah shit, now we cry again
Ghibli is the peak of filmmaking
Period. No other film director fulfills what filmmaking should be, and makes films that is everything a film should be, than Hayao Miyazaki
This man and his beautiful work was what got me into animation. He's my hero in every sense. I think that if it wasn't for him I would not be at Sunrise today. Thank you so much for the video, it brought back memories from a beautiful past I left behind a long time ago. 😊
Same here he actually inspired alote of people who are the greatest animators today
Saw my first Miyazaki film for just about a month ago, it was My neighbour Totero, after that i saw the rest of his and the Studios highest regarded films when i had the appartment for myself in nine days, and lived in a form for modern solitude, and did only see people at the food store, it was rainy and stormy every day as i am based in southern coastal Norway, which is really rainy in winterstime. I lived and breathed in these great films for that period, and it also affected and shaped all of the music i made this period, giving me new inspiration and ways of doing things by listening to The soundtracks and ambience of these films. Watching all of these movies was a lifechanging experience, i feel a bit less empty on the inside and less emotionally numb, was 9 surreal days, and i will never forget them. Studio Ghibli also redeemed my faith in the movie as a medium.
When you see a wonderful world hayao miyazaki created, you gaze not only at nature and beauty, but you gaze at what our world once was. How it's marvelous mountains watch us from on high, how the trees listen and tell us truths unheard of, how the Meadows and oceans sing to us in unforgettable notes, how the skies tell is a story that never ends. Hayao miyazaki your brilliance brought smiles and joy to many including me, you will never be forgotten by the winds of time. your name will be remembered forever. The world loves you hayao, and we always will. I also want to thank hisaishi for the beautiful melodies that made these world's come to life. The beauty of your songs is what gives hayaos artwork life and power. Never stop playing, keep the melodies in our hearts alive, keep the beats thumping to our lives. Just like hayao we love you and we always will.
Edit: 15 likes, I mean I was expecting the likes just not this amount. Thank you all.
...and every moning is wonder and new. I think everyone comeback in this place. We meet in skytrain. Im courios how you will look...but i know i will know...
Is hao a spelling mistake or just autocorrect?
@@nitishkumarjurel241 auto correct and thanks for pointing it out I knew I forgot to change something
I can't believe they removed the audio 😭
It was perfectly synced with Ashitaka's theme.
I know It is so sad, the original video is available on vimeo still link in the description!
This is so nostalgic for me...
Imo mama nostalgic.
I still remember renting Princess Mononoke from my local library when I was like 8 or so. One of the best decisions I made in my life so far.
The clip where Ashitaka and San wake up in the grass at the end of the movie is so beautiful, I always smile :)
One of my favourite scenes is in princess Mononoke where you see the plants blooming under the forest spirit’s feet 🥰 it’s so beautifully animated. Watching a ghibli is like been transported to another world.
I love Hayao Miyazaki with all my heart. My parents always said that Anime’s are nonsense and for kids but I’m so proud and happy to love and have those movies in my life. 💕
His animes are high quality content
But not all animes are like that
Show your parents spirited away. They will change it.
Feel like I don't deserve to watch this
Me neither
Let's be honest here. The most beautiful shots are every shot in every movie!
So true👋😊
Oh noooo why is the music gonee God this was such a gem that I found 😔

Seeing this reminded me of all the joy and amazement I felt watching all these films for the first time and I got a little choked up about it. This is beautiful.
At the end of the day it's not just an anime it give me a lot of lessons for me to believed that no matter old your are you still have a reason to believe and do on what really makes you happy.
Something that’s frustrating me is that friends and family are choosing to shut out Ghibli’s masterful works for mediocre garbage just because it’s foreign and it’s “anime”
Isn't a Hayao Miyazaki film an entire perfect shot ?!
5 minutes and 14 seconds of pure beauty.
This is beautiful... i do think that you shouldve put the face reveal of the forest spirit in princess mononoke... it was one of the most hyped/awaited scenes in Hayao Miyazaki films...
I agree I also wish we included it, such a powerful moment!!!
and howl vs the queen too
@@brandocervera3854 yeah, when she stamps the ground with her staff, and the earth moves....stunning
I just realized that you skipped major spoiler scenes as well, that’s kind of you, almost as if you are telling us, *”If you haven’t seen these movies, than go watch them!”*
Studio Ghibli were the movies I grew up with. I watched them when my parents were together and my dogs were alive. I watched them when my life was simple and I couldn’t quite understand the place these movies held for me. I watched them before I understood that they were teaching me to love the little things in life. I struggle with depression and anxiety, but even then I think of the little things I love in life, and I account these movies for that. Miyazaki once said he wanted to teach people to love the little things, so, thank you. Thank you for teaching me to love. Thank you for teaching me to see the world through different eyes. Yes, they are just movies but they will stay with me throughout the rest of my life.
Time to rewatch all of them
There is no sound.
let's be real, it's every shot lol.
great editing btw! love the song choice too ;__;
and all of this is hand drawn, man!
Gespy-chan stories talent is self-sufficient :")
Toon Link and full on hard work!
Gespy-chan stories really? Like Spirited Away too? Damn, I didn't expect that.
Yeah! No badly done CGI and stupid camera shakes!
There's a lot of cgi in the movies starting with mononoke, but it's very selective with only really painted backgrounds.
One of the many reasons I watch studio Ghibli.
Nice compilation! So much of beautiful art.. ❤️ Love from Totoro.
Thank you
Justin & Nick my pleasure!
Imo mama. :P
Miyazaki’s movies always make me want to write a billion different stories, they’re so inspiring
This made me cry.
There are my childhood films,I want to cry😭😭
Watched it on vimeo. I had goosebumps the whole time with the music/shots, so epic and not in a internet kind of way. It was just epic
Comments like this make me want to keep creating, thank you very much!
I teared up. These movies really are beautiful. As a writer and artist, I hope I can someday make someone feel the way I do now while watching these scenes.
I love "How'l moving castle"!!!!!!!!! Especially the man named Howl, he's so amazing and handsome in any color of he's hair his dreamy. I love the one who make this movies the creator has a wonderful imagination, such a creative 😇😇😊😊
Amazing and beautiful imagination. His mind full of interesting dreamy imagination.
I'm cring so hard, the nostalgia hits me in the face
i will decorate my house with all ghibli stuff
Love how you made the images and music fit together perfectly!
princessthyemis thank you!!
And that is why I love art.
He made up most of my childhood and taught me the true magic of life and the beauty within it despite absolute depressive times. When I’m sad or down I think about his world and what he’s brought to me. He truest inspires me to be who I am and create what I can, and never let myself down.

*HEY EVERYONE UNFORTUNATELY THE MUSIC WAS REMOVED FROM THIS VIDEO DUE TO COPYRIGHT ISSUES. THANKS FOR ALL THE LOVE ON THIS VIDEO, I KNOW HOW MANY OF YOU WERE ASKING FOR A WAY TO BE ABLE TO WATCH IT IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM SO I HAVE UPLOADED IT TO VIMEO (AUDIO INCLUDED). It was adequate with the silence regardless.
Oh bro :'c
I have the attack of the village in the film if you want czcams.com/video/ATfSLoCHzSk/video.html
I was so sad to see the music taken down, thank you for this!!!
Thank you!! I am a 29 yo working man and this MV was one of my major source of sustenance after a long day of hectic work and the harsh realities of the world. I would frequently visit this as a refuge and i was sad when i saw the music taken down. I doubt that the soulless bot or the equally heartless copyright wraiths would neither understand what it means to people like us nor halt thier relentless pursuit.
Thank you for reuploading this... this will give me peace for a little while yet.
I knew this was going to be incredible when they started with the legend of ashitaka song.
The universe of Ghibli is so beautiful
I don’t know if I will ever be able to express how all of Miyazaki’s work make me feel but I do know it’s wonderful...
Studio Ghibli - true masters and magicians.
What I love so much about these movies is you can take any frame and put it up on ur wall. Every second of these bad bois is beautiful
That end song is really lovely. The Wind Rises holds a special place in my heart
When I watch ghibli movies I feel like I'm Home 🌸 love from Palestine
I loved ponyo, I always watched it again over and over. He really did have talent, I hope I can try to see more of his films that he has created

Beautiful! Thanks!
Why is there not a scene for Porco Rosso?? One of my favorite form Miyazaki. So many good shots form that one. :(
There is at least one shot from every film Miyazaki has worked on, i believe 4:15 is from Porco Rosso. I do wish I put more in but each film just had so many amazing shots!!!
Here 1:35 . But i also wanted more.
Bryan López I have liked so much porco rosso because it is in Milan in Italy,my city 🇮🇹,and the name is in Italian to.RIP Miyazaki

The most wonderful movies.. I'm glad and lucky for being able to see these breathtaking views.
Beautiful, thank you
This should be at least 12 hours long; every single scene is beautiful
Words cannot describe how Miyazaki is sincerely phenomenal, along with the partnership with Joe Hisaishi. I have seen only 4 films by Miyazaki and Ghibli overall by far. The first one was My Neighbor Totoro, which is my personal favorite of all time and I watched this over and over again for about 7 times. Kiki’s Delivery Service was my second, then Spirited Away (watched it twice) and finally The Wind Rises. These films have an impact to my life, not only because Miyazaki’s genius and Hisaishi’s profound score from each film, but because they’re truthful to life. Miyazaki’s films, those I’ve seen yet, carry almost no message. On the contrary, Miyazaki’s art imitates life. Or on the other words, as Miyazaki said once ‘Ma’ (translated to Emptiness). Hayao’s characters aren’t developed in any film but their actions are truthful to the daily life. Pay attention to the beautiful shots, for example, where we watch frogs and trees without any meaning. That’s how Hayao grasps nature. Miyazaki have always wanted to make films about Silence. To lie down, breathe and think about ourselves a little bit. It turns out that his animations aren’t really animations, and I appreciate so much his hand-drawn skills. He portrays us. He is by all means my favorite animated director of all time, and Hisaishi is my favorite composer. Thank you Miyazaki for bringing the world bright again. I promise I will continue to watch your film for the rest of my life ❤️
Studio Ghibli films are magic!
I think this video is one of the beautifulest things I have ever seen, especially on youtube
Awesomely well made, you have all my respects and this is an awesome tribute you made
