Yeah .. yeah .. yeah .. Every beautiful animatic cells are frame perfect & all that -- but I don't get the ending !?!
Please spare me the usual "well, it's up to your own interpretation" cliché. It's all sound Fake & BS to me (like you don't get it either but wanted to sound smart !)
I also didn't get it. Watched this film yesterday for the first time. Music and art are great, but the story has no logic.
You don't even sound like you genuinely want an answer. You just sound like another hater. So why should people waste time explaining to you
Howl finally accepted who he is and stopped running, then settled down with Sophie. Prince Justin was revealed to be the 'turniphead' scarecrow, whose return caused the war to stop.
I don't think there's too much else to it.
I'm the book, sophie has the power to make her words come true. In the beggening, sophie thought she was ugly and looked old, so when she was cursed, she became that. Over the course of the movie both sophie and howl struggle with their internal image(hair dye incident).
When she gets beautiful l, she becomes beautiful.
The whole movie is a timer loop. Future Sophie finds young howl and tells him to find her in the future.
