    I see I'm not hallucinating,I was in the 12th grade when the Rebellion happened and i swear nobody used the word South Central til after the Rebellion happened snd the Media Promoted that term💯 It really blows my mind when i see OLD CRIPS reminisce on the "GLORY DAYS OF CRIPPING"🤔🤔🤔 There are no good ole days of Cripping,Any Organization committed to Black on Black Mayhem is destined to cannibalize itself ! Some of these 60yr old Crips seem to refuse to accept Crip on Crip violence was thier destiny 🤨🤨🤨

      @ronaldgreenjr1423 Před 4 lety +19

      The good ol days is when there was respect all throughout the city. People moved around a lot and built relationships with different hoods. That's the foundation of being a CRIP. A lot of positives but too many negatives is the problem.

      @@joemosely9383 Yes & No ! When an old Bishop reminisces on the Good Ole Days of having to fight Crips outnumbered 3 to 1 it's amusing cause he was fighting an agressor but if that OG hasn't matured and evolved as a man,And that's all he got to feel good about it's annoying ! However unlike Crips,BISHOPS never had a dream of building a Citywide Brotherhood of Black Men who took other Black men's Jackets,Then wanna know why younger guy's are fighting each other ! As u well know Mr. Moseley Crips had a different agenda from those who stood up to them ! Back to my point,If it's okay to identity other Black men as Prey for ur Brotherhood as well as encourage drug usage & dropping out of school as cool behavior from those in the Crip Brotherhood l ! At 60 yrs old,One shouldn't be shocked that the Brotherhood now preys on itself !

      Bishops Kill, Steal and Destroy , Just Like Crips. From the Gate. Thats What Gangs Do, Crip or non-Crip.

      @@ronaldgreenjr1423 Let me tell u something bro ! There's an Original 89NHC×ECC who's family is friends with my father's family ! When i was a kid he told me back in the seventies him & his fellow 89NHC would walk into a house party,unscrew the light bulbs thus creating total darkness and then beging socking people indiscriminately who just wanted to enjoy themselves ! So when i hear OG BAM speak on the red carpet he recieved in 89NHC×ECC HOOD then become sad cause Crips now kill each other,SMH ! I just told u about the hospitality my father's friend from 89NHC gave his fellow Black Man & Woman who weren't Crips ! As i said WHAT GOOD OLE DAYS

    When you get into the City of Compton, the East / West boundaries are different. He's correct in what he's saying. Rolling South down Central, towards El Segundo, you're on the Eastside of L.A. But, once you cross El Segundo, you're now on the Westside of Compton. Just like you gotta know your hoods, you gotta know your boundaries 😼

But Bc its in close proximity to Compton and apart of the Compton Crip Car, they claim Compton but still say east side bc of their Street Signs even tho if they were actually apart of Compton it would be west... for instance Athens Park Claim Westside Athens Park Blood.. bc its West of Main St, Unincorporated Willowbrook District In East South, Los Angeles. Half of Willowbrook is LA half is Compton. In example is Athens Park is LA but Carver Park claim Cpt even tho some have L.A residencies and others say Compton. Willowbrook, Watts Florence-Firestone, Avalon Gardens, Broadway-Manchester, South Park, Low Bottoms are all the Eastside of South Central with Los Angeles addresses. Whatever your address says that’s what city you claim except for some sets who could be in two cities like Carver Park who’s technically in both L.A and Compton but they claim the Compton/Watts car but that’s prison politics. The Westside of South Central is West Athens, Westmont, Vermont-Visa, Vermont-Slauson, Vermont square, Van Ness, Park Mesa Heights, hyde park, veiw park/windsor hills, Baldwin hills, Exposition park, West Adams, and Jefferson park. Some of these areas are unincorporated but they all are addresses of the City of Los Angeles.

    In 96 I was in county looking at 18 yrs. I’m a Norteno 1st term at this time. Way up north where no Norteno’s was there to lace me. There was a Compton Crip CCO named No Face. He took a liking to me and taught me enemy tattoos, how to read n write in code, how to mini write, sign language , weaponry and vital parts of the body to go for etc... he was political as fuck and made me political as fuck too. When I finally hit San Quentin my Norteno OGs thought I did time before. Lot of what Face taught me helped me survive. I’ll always have love for Crips and for sure the CCO Crips ! How he ended up up north I’ll never know.

It makes you wonder what could have been had these brothers been on a different mission. Had they been given a different opportunity. Look at how strong, sharp and youthful this brother is, born in the 50s. Made it through gang banging and a crack addiction during the crack epidemic, yet can give you a humble smile. Not to mention, his appreciation for intellect. Salute to all the homies who went down that dark path and are now seeking redemption. If we can grab hold of just one youngster, we can change the trajectory of this whole thing. Let’s make being a stand up black man cool again. 🙏🏾💪🏾

    Due to the educational strength and structure that the CCO produced it should have never been abolished. Instead those that misused their authority should have been removed and more upright individuals took their place. Even tho CCO was abolished the idealology should have still been promoted within each individual Crip hood strictly to maintain structure within Crip community as a whole. A lot of the older Crips that was apart of this Organization was frowned on by younger Crip due to defacters promoting ill feelings so young crips was taught to avoid paperwork and to stay clear of certain individuals period. But all in all structure is a good thing when dealing with any group of people. The organisation itself is never the problem its always the people. Remove the bad people and keep the machine going. He went way back with the Tailor mades, Neiman Marcus hats & Fila BJ. When I younger all the OG’s wore Tailored mades. We used to sit on the curb and watch them patrol the hood wishing we could wear that lol

    I respect all the OG’s from all hoods and both sides...I got into this crip shit in “96 at markham middle school (I’m 34 now) and my first real encounter with hood violence was with other crips (imperial courts) even tho the Nickerson gardens are damus I got more passes and respect from them then then what I got from the imperial courts. I was born in raised in the Jordan downs🍇 but I always got more love from my hub city niggaz than the hoods in my own city! #Hubz&Dubz

      North Philly 215 we USED to have A LOT of gangs in philly back in the late 60s and early 70s: the valley, Haines street, brick yard, dogtown, tenderlions, Barbary coast, Morocco’s, Norris street, Somerville gang, and the moon, even white boys had gangs like the dirty Annie’s in southwest philly...the gangs just died out in the late 70s early 80s, but up in Germantown people still rep their neighborhoods by yelling out brick yard! Or Haines street!

    Centennial High School is not in South Central L.A. The signs that are now posted in the different neighborhoods, giving them names and labels, makes it easier for law enforcement to pinpoint certain situations. That's why they've broken them down into smaller sections, name wise 😼
