#Pentatonix #BohemianRhapsody - Zábava
It's called "a capella" when they use their voices as instruments backing the primary vocals. Pentatonix are masters at this. Check out more of their stuff, including their Christmas music. Mary Did You Know is hauntingly beautiful. Merry Christmas, guys!
First time I heard them I knew they were a cappella, but I still couldn’t believe it because the sounds they make are so full! It’s true! 100% voices only! There may be effects used on occasion, and their mixing can be heavy sometimes, but they’re always in key, and anything they use they insist on being able to replicate live. And they DO!
A cappella music is a performance by a singer or a singing group without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way.
This is a fantastic acappella group, no instruments, many songs. Should listen to SOUND OF SILENCE, so good
Yes. Love Sound of Silence
Yes!! Sound of Silence is AMAZING!!!
Do you guys know who else does a great job of "Sound of Silence" is by Disturbed?! I'm not into metal, but my daughter played it for my husband & I & it was awesome, the member of Disturb has a powerful voice. I love listening to all groups that have performed it. This group did a fantastic job & Simon & Garfunkel would be proud!! Hats off to them, they're a wonderful a capella group!!! 👍🏻
@@flatandsplat thanks for the recommendation 🤗
You actually reacted to them before. You reacted to Hallelujah, where it looked like they were out in the middle of the desert. Great reaction though and yes, it's a cappella, no instruments used.
This version was given the approval by none other than Brian May himself
That's pretty epic, and well deserved.
Highly recommend their Daft Punk medley. It won them their first Grammy and is FIRE!
This cannot be recommended highly enough.
This ^ 🙂
Yessssssssss. I’ve watched it so many times, and it doesn’t get ANY less impressive with repetition. Straight up fire and extremely deserving of the Grammy they got for it. You won’t be disappointed!!
Performing Bohemian Rhapsody a cappella was a tall order, and they did it A-mazingly well. Thanks for the reaction!
A fact many people miss is that great singers' voices are the true instruments and musical instruments are supportive. The beauty of acapella!
Pentatonix's cover of the sound of silence is just epic.
Omg YES! Also Disturbed did a version of Sound of silence that was wonderful too.
"Making noise in a megaphone"? That's one of the greatest and best known guitar solos in the history of music. lol
I saw them in concert and they are amazing. Pure talent.
You have just touched the tip,of the ice berg with Pentatonix!! Fall down the hole - the Christmas music, the compilations, the covers! Then come back in 12 hours and THEN review this group!
Their Christmas stuff is honestly so great. I sing in choirs and don’t want to listen to Christmas music since I start singing it in September, but I make an exception for Pentatonix. “Mary, did you know” will give you chills, their version on Carol of the Bells might be my favorite, and I believe their “Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy” won them their second Grammy!
This is the phenomenal group that performed “Hallelujah “ y’all reacted to!
I remember seeing their reaction, but it is a while back.
I stopped watching because in my suggested feed right next to this video I can see their reaction from seven months ago to Hallelujah , I don't like that they claim they don't' know this group..
@@carmens1063 That they didn't remember, with all the other videos they've responded to, doesn't bother me. Because I'm such an airhead myself. LOL.
@@Loruca They’re just lying. It’s plain and simple. No need for excuses. They say it’s first time reacting to this and that and never heard of them before just about every time. They are so predictable on their reaction after you watch them for the first couple of times.
Love Queen and Pentatonix. I think that Freddy Mercury would have loved this and been so proud. Merry Christmas to you guys and your family. Stay humble and healthy.
Bran May loved this so much, he posted it on his page.
pentatonix is so so good
Nice! I think you guys listened to their Hallelujah a few months ago.
If you young connoisseurs of music haven't heard and seen the original queen version of this, check it out. You'll see how good their imitation of instruments is. 👍 Love you two 💕
Awesome song you need to hear them sing Mary, Did You know?
Definitely worthy of a listen!! One of my favorites!!
The sounds of Silence
By this same group is Awesome!!
Their beatbox, aside from being one of the best I've ever seen, is also a classically trained Cellist who went to Julliard!! You should check out some of his solo stuff!!
Mary did you know is one of my favorite songs that they do.
You picked a great one to react to!! It’s cool to see how Kevin isn’t the only one who does vocal percussion (the beat boxing). Mitch killed it on his megaphone/guitar solo!
Their voices omg. That's the otherworldly Mitch on lead & the fabulous Kevin on Beatbox.
This is my first time hearing this, but this group is outstanding.
They’ve been together since 2011, so there’s a large back catalogue of awesome music waiting for you!
Pentatonix has amazing covers and outstanding originals. They also do unbelievable medleys like the Evolution of Michael Jackson.
Clicked SO FAST!!!! Been waiting for you guys to fall down the rabbit hole for months! Thanks for this! 😘
If I remember right, you boys grew up in the church so you might be familiar with some of their Christmas music which is phenomenal
Pentatonix...GOATs! Thanks for this reaction, please do more PTX! 🕊️🙏❤️🕯️
PTX tends to not do covers, they do upgrades. But, this one, Queen rules. I saw them in concert in 2018. And this was the encore. Fabulous
All voice no instruments is called a'capella. The style of "Bohemian Rhapsody" is opera, in this case rock opera. This group does amazing stuff. You should check out more from them.
Hallelujah,Imagine,Sounds of Silence,…sooo many! Great listen…never disappoints!
Yes guys more of Pentatonix can't hold us
Yes please do more Pentatonix!
Thanks for the reaction guys! You have encountered this awesome group before - you reacted to their cover of Hallelujah several months back, and you’ve also reacted to ‘Change on the Rise’ by Avi Kaplan who was the bass singer in Pentatonix before he went solo - he’s the guy with the beard in this video.
You need to do more Pentatonix. They are amazing. Try Hallelujah, Sound Of Silence and Amazing Grace to give you just a taste of their range. They have original music and some of the best covers you'll ever hear!!!
They do some great renditions of Daft Punk, and others, they've also won grammys, sang with Dolly Parton, award shows and the White House just to name a few. They are THE BEST Acapella group I've ever heard and have HUGE talent. Thanks guys for sharing and YES, PLEASE MORE PENTATONIX!!!
You have reacted to this group before. I Love pentatonix! amazing acapella group!
Finally!!! I love Pentatonix! I'm so happy to see you react to them. Daft Punk was my first introduction to Pentatonix. You'll love it!
Hallelujah, The Prayer, Come Along, Imagine, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, and so many great song covers from these guys! You would absolutely love more of them, I'm positive!
Pentatonix is an a cappella group, meaning no instruments. Just their voices and bodies. Pentatonix has even won 3 grammys!
Wait....TAKE SIX won a Grammy!
@@1sexysportsfan I researched it, and I was wrong. I will fix my answer. Thank you.
The voice is an organic and most mellifluous instrument, simply not played, beaten, banged, fingered, plucked or stroked and bowed.
I thought you did do one other reaction to a Pentatonix cover before >> Hallelujah? yes?
It lists out in my feed ==> seven months ago 🤣
They have hundreds of songs and covers
Do Them All 🔥🙌🏻
I thought the same, that they had done Hallelujah. How can any normal person stop at just 1 Pentatonix song?!?!?!
@@cmholt7173 ,,, and how can they not be like, whoa I've heard this amazing group before!
@@sharonsmith5296 EXACTLY!!! Craziness I tell you
They are really good & they don't need musical instruments!!! Great reaction!! 😎👍🏻☮❤
They were on the Sing Off. And Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was impressed with them EVERY SINGLE WEEK. A great run of stuff to watch!
Their "Daft Punk" medley is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Also "Mary Did You Know"!
A cappella!! FTW!! Pentatonix does it right! Check out their other tunes!!
And they do amazing Christmas carols too!!
Mary Did You Know wrecks me every flipping time!!
This was sooooo cool! 😎 Anybody else tryin 2 guess what Tim gonna do with his hair or just me😆 Luv the hat Fred
one of my favorite a cappella groups, I love there version of Mary did you know, and hallelujah
You'll have to do another one since Avi left & Matt took his place.
I remember this song. It was a favorite. I'm loving Fred's hair cut. Nice do.
Pentatonix is the BEST! You can't go wrong with any of their songs, but should definitely check out DAFT PUNK MEDLEY!
This group is spectacular!!!!!!
Thanks sooo much!!!!
Their version of Hallelujah gives me goosebumps.
***BTW you have reacted to Pentatonix before...Hallelujah, shot in the desert, you were wondering how they got there...the guy in the hat with the high voice is the guy that takes lead in the beginning of this song and does the guitar solo. No instruments in Hallelujah either.
Thank you for reacting to this amazing Pentatonix video. I enjoyed your reaction. Please react to Pentatonix video "The Prayer".
Can't beat their rendition of Hallelujah
This version is epic.
i am sure everyone has already suggested, but their cover of "sound of silence" is amazing
Have to listen to MORE Pentatonix!!! Amazing Grace inspiring.
Merry Christmas guys! So glad you reacted to Pentatonix. They are one of my favorite groups. You can't go wrong with anything you listen to from them. Sound of Silence, The Prayer, Mary Did You Know, Hallelujah, and so many Christmas songs. Can't wait to see you do more of their songs.
Thanks Twins. That was so good. I really enjoyed that, and hadn't seen that before. I'm familiar with their work. Have a safe and Happy New Year. ✌🏽😊
They are an acapella group and wonderful
Hallelujah by Pentatonix is a must view! ❤️
Everything Pentatonix does is amazing #PTX
Definitely more. They are awesome. Try Say Something, Hallelujah or Sound of Silence for your next review.
Pentatonix was introduced to us as an a capella group; that's who they are. Please, please react to 'Hallelujah' and 'Mary Did You Know'. These are amazing performances by them. Especially at this time of year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours guys. 👍🏾🙏🏾👵🏿💕🎶
This version is unique and different I like it
The first Pentatonix video/song I watched was their redo of "Somebody I Used to Know". The song was originally done by Gotye and I highly recommend both versions.
I think you reacted to them like a year ago. Didn’t you react to Hallelujah?
It was 7 months ago
Welcome to the Pentatonix rabbit hole. Try their Daft Punk medley, and Can't Hold Us. Everything they do is awesome.
Love this group!
Pentatonix - Are you that somebody x New Rules 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Remarkable always. Knowing u guys love John Lennon, please listen to Pentatonix doing Imagine! Please! Good to see you.
Love your reactions! So glad you found my favorite a cappella group :-) You would love their cover of “Can’t Hold Us” - shows how wide their range is in music, and just how crazy their beatboxer, Kevin, can get!
Beautiful song and great performance
I haven't listened to you all since I left Portland Oregon via Southern california. Now I'm in Texas and you just popped up on my CZcams feed. Nice to see you all again. Keep it going
You can't really go wrong with Pentatonix. All of their songs are amazing. And if you want to try more acapella songs, VoicePlay and Home Free are also excellent groups.
They’re acapella - no instruments. You need to check out more: Amazing Grace, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Evolution of Michael Jackson, Imagine, The Sound Of Silence etc !! They’re so good .. you’ll never hear a bad song by them.
Brian may, Lead guitarist for queen, Is actually doctor Brian may. He has Is actually doctor Brian may. He has his PHD in astrophysics. The scene where it's just the night sky with the stars is onade to him being an astrophysicists. Prior to Prior to knowing this I always wondered why there were 4 shooting stars and not 5Pentatonix has 5 members. Once I read that Maya interpret Asian of the for shooting stars is that they represent the for members of queen. Brian may was so impressed with there cover Are bohemian rhapsody that he posted it on all his social media sites. The Megaphone is a prop.
We're overdue a Phil Collins reaction, guys! Only You Know and I Know! It's a banger!
Y'all need to check out their Daft Punk medley. It is ridiculously good!
The first I heard of, and by, Pentatonix was the Christmas song, Little Drummer Boy, years ago. Since then I have followed their progress and they're still the most exceptional acapella group I've heard. They were in a competition series of acapella groups and won repeatedly over much bigger groups. Since they started, two members went their separate ways, but the replacements they found are quite good and fit in nicely. I highly recommend researching their work and enjoying it. I surely have. Thank you for the wonderful reaction to a superior vocal group. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both.
Great song and Tim...love the shirt💜
You will learn SO much by going to college, from teachers to the new friends you make.
Great reaction guys. Thank you. PTX has quite the library. One of my favorites is an original, 'Sing.' If they ever use instruments they are front and center. The beatboxer, Kevin, also plays cello.
OMG, I could listen to this every day! Really lifts my spirits!
The megaphone is just a prop guys...Mitch can do this LIVE :)
My favorite cover of this song
They're amazing - they do a great Carol of the Bells. You should also check out the Queen original if you haven't already.
Oh they know the Queen original! They love Queen. From the first time Tim did a Queen video he loved them and Freddy Mercury. That is how he realized after the song started that they were doing a Queen song. They consider Queen a GOAT! :)
If you love this you absolutely have to listen to Naturally 7. They’re amazing!
I wanted you guys to react to Pentatonix cover of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis song called Can't Hold Us
Glad you found PTX. Enjoy
Good one Twins!
U guys reacted to Pentatonix 7 months ago with hallelujah so this is the second time on your CZcams channel please react to sound of silence
Great reaction! A couple of suggestions by them are Can't Hold Us and Mad World.
Listen to them perform 'Mary did you know'. Powerful
PTX IS THE BEST A CAPELLA GROUP IN THE WORLD.
❤🎼🎵
No instruments, no electronics and no autotune used, Mitch doesn't need the megaphone. He does it live without it.
Great reaction guys. Glad to see you feeling better, been praying for you.
If you guys enjoyed this I highly recommend Pentatonix’s cover of “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”!
This was originally sung by Queen!! Pentatonix never uses instruments, they are awesome!!
Yes guys you gotta hear Queen do it!
@@blumunkee They already did Queen's version almost a year ago.
They do use instruments sometimes but they are 95% a capella the rest of the time, and if they use instruments you will see them in the video
@@mamajenkins1981They said they never use instruments just their voices.
Their version of hallelujah brought me to tears.
I just remembered ya'll reacted to it a few months back.🤔
If you enjoyed this, there are two other a capella groups you might really enjoy. Rockapella does gorgeous rock a capella arrangements, and Home Free does gorgeous country a capella arrangements. The vocals and arrangements are so gorgeous that you don't even have to like the genre being sung to enjoy the vocals.
For Home Free, the American Pie arrangement they do with Don MacLean would be a great start. For Rockapella, I recommend starting with Zombie Jamboree.
I realy like the early Rockapella stuff, especially Song 9! It's hard to find a good video of it, though. And Home Free is great, they had Avi on one of their songs. My Church and Honey, I'm Good are my favs!
Great reaction guys just one thing y'all did see them before you reacted to Hallelujah bout 5 months ago I'm sure y'all just forgot I been watching you for a long time now I know y'all are truthful!! Now I'ma watch your reaction lady marmalade I know you had to love that I know I do!!! HAPPY NEW YEARS GUYS STAY BLESSED
