I don’t remember what interview or Video it was, but someone asked Scott what the hardest song to do live was. He said this one because the arrangement has him flipping between high/low, and joining one harmony line only to switch to another mid lyric. And Mitch. ❤️ Megaphone is just a prop.
I'm loving your Pentatonix reactions, your eyes speak volumes lol. They really are a feast for the eyes and ears. They never perform any cover that they can't perform live but on official recordings they do sometimes overlay beats/vocals. Unless you actually see an instrument, it's all them and any of their songs will draw in the Pentaholics. Watching other peoples reactions is like seeing our own reactions again for the first time, it's fun to watch people figure out their talent. x

I like all of Pentatonix offerings. One of my favorites is "Cheerleader" for its simplicity.
Mitch is playing the guitar. He can do it without the megaphone it is a prop.

For the record... Co founder and still playing with the band Brian May (astrophysicist) added this to his site and recommends people listen he was that impressed with their rendition of this song...

Try looking for a live feed from their 2022 Christmas tour, called "Kevin's Fifth." I think you would love it.
What else? Think of any song that you don't like, either because you've heard it too often, or you've heard too many bad renditions of it. Type the name of that song into CZcams's search box and add the word "Pentatonix." If they've covered it, that will turn it up. Then listen to their cover of this song that you don't like. It will probably become your new favorite.
For specific recommendations:

• Every one of their performances on season 3 of _The Sing-Off,_ in order.

I love that during the “let him gooo!” When Kirsty and Kevin are harmonizing, you can hear it switch to just Kirstin as soon as the drums start. So good

Great reaction Cam! Wonderful Mitch-slap when he started the guitar solo. Then I found several instances where you and I were doing similar hand movements and chair dancing as we watched. Yes, that was Mitch "playing the guitar." The megaphone, however, was just a prop; it had nothing to do with the sound Mitch was producing. All acapella.
Actually, dude, that megaphone is a prop. In the live recording of this there is no megaphone, and Mitch still does the electric guitar with his voice only. And Kevin is not just beatboxing, he is an actual entire drum kit including cymbals, all created using his mouth. And I believe Avi is doing a bass guitar with his voice, along with a wind generator. When will you learn that just when you think you have these people figured out, they Mitch-slap you again?

Just a little clarification:
Mitch is using a Bullhorn, not a megaphone.
The bullhorn is an electric version of a megaphone.
Best part? The megaphone isn't on. That's just Mitch. There's a live version of this out there. The megaphone is just a prop.
Also shout-out to Kevin doing percussion on "will not let you go" and then switching right to singing harmony with Kirstie on "Let me go" and back again.
