  • Much of American Evangelicalism is based on shilling for Zionism and treating Jewish people like they are demigods, but how true is this of Christianity proper? In this video I explain why Christians should not support the so-called Zionist state of "Israel".

Every time I hear the word "Holocaust" I always ask "which one?" Orthodox Christians have been through several. Pontus, Armenia, Asia Minor to name a few. We have been persecuted for 2000 years, and we are still being persecuted all over the world. What makes our case different is that no one cares about persecuted Christdendom - we have no fancy terms to describe our persecution, oppression and sorrow. There are no "phobia" or "anti" suffixes or preffixes to describe those who seek to wipe us out. We suffer and endure in silence wherever we are - Asia, Africa, Europe, America.
May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and our most Glorious Lady the Theotokos bless our Orthodox sisters and brothers everywhere. Amen.

According to an opinion piece in Ynet News (Israeli News site) by Author Sever Plocker, "Stalin's Jews" (Dec. 21, 2006). One of the greatest mass murderers of the 20th Century was a Jew named Genrkih Yagoda who Plocker credits with the deaths of at least 10 million people (Orthodox Christians? Holodomor?). Plocker states that not one Israeli High school graduate has ever heard of him.
I bring this up to show historically not only Jews were abused, but also some were major abusers as Plocker reveals in his article. Plocker believes his fellow Jews should own up to it.

Open up Romans 11, in the very opening sentence Paul first states:
" I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. "
Right off the bat, we get.. who are the Israelites? Descendants of Abraham.. the blood line of Jacob/Israel, are the ethnic Jewish people that God still recognizes, let's start there.
Then Paul goes on to explain the "ingrafted branches".. because of the rebellion of the Israelites, his chosen lineage from the line of Abraham, salvation has now opened up and come to the gentiles.. the native Olive Tree branches can be broken off to graft in and make room for the gentiles, but notice they're allowed into the tree but not forgotten. And this is made perfectly clear in the next paragraph..
      Paul says in 11:25-28
"25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way[e] all Israel will be saved."
      And
"28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[h] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all."
From this passage Paul makes clear just like the Pharaoh he's allowed the ethnic "Israel" to harden their hearts till the gentile world can all have the opportunity to be grafted in.. God's not abandoning their existence and their promise to the land was not abandoned either, for example next I'll point out Ezekiel 37.
In Ezekiel 37 under the "dry bones prophecy", after 1948 WW2 the diaspora that had been abandoned for almost 1800 years was finally allowed to reunite fulfilling this prophecy that the lineage of Abraham was not completely abandoned:
"12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel."
We, the "gentile Christian world" are grafted in as part of the "body of Christ" like Paul says in Ephesians 2-4, but the lost sheep that are these "Ben Shapiro" practicing "Jews", many that are still part of the lineage of Abraham by blood, still play a part in God's eschatological play till the end times... look at Revelations 7 with the 144,000.. comign from the Tribes of "Israel", these are the tribulation saints that converted to Christ, the mass multitude after being all the followers of Christianity. So I think you guys are 100% wrong.

What few know is that modern Judaism was created by a man called Yohana Ben Zakkai in 90AD (and others).
Zakkai cherry picked Scripture to try to preserve Judaism after the temple was destroyed by God in 70AD using Rome as His hammer.
What was created was manmade and therefore blasphemous - not given by God. Yohanan on his death bed was terrified to meet his Maker because of this. BUT, St. Paul had no fear at all and had full confidence that he accomplished all that God assigned to him.
Zakkai died in terror in a bed surrounded by his disciples.
St. Paul died in peace... imprisoned and decapitated.

Ortodox Christian here, and I find the question whether Christians should support Palestinians a blasphemy.
I understand a lot of people have been deceived and/or brainwashed BUT remaining silent when we are witnessing an ethnic cleansing , a bloody genocide and massacre of innocent babies and children in a real time is everything but Christian.
Jesus Christ taught that the two greatest commandments were to: “'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbour as yourself.” Love for all people was at the very centre of Jesus Christ's' message.
We were all given a free will - choose as you like but don't be surprised when you meet your maker ... Matthew 7:23
Whoever sees in his heart a trace of hatred towards any person for any mistake, is completely alien to the love of God. Because love for God does not tolerate hatred for man.

Israelites are God's people conditionally as long as they submit to God which include Jesus who is God. When the Israelites practiced idolatry or tried to kill Moses they were not God's people. The law did not come just with an unconditional blessing but with a blessing and curse like the tree of good and evil.
Israel(the secular state without a Jewish temple) is also not the same as Israel(a theocracy with a Jewish temple). This is sn inportance nuance which Hasidic Jews understand.
I agree Israel has a right to exist or defend itself but not due to any special privileges or religious reasons. Israel is just another country and yes they need to treat Orthodox Christians better and yes they have an obligation to respect human rights like any other country.

For me the question who should Christians support in the Israely - HAMAS war sounds like a question: who should Christians support in the war between the Communist Soviet Union and Nazi Germany? We shouldn't support any side, they both evil.
Why should we even think about supporting one side or the other?
Yes, jews in Israel treat christians like dirt, but muslims in Pakistan or Afghanistan treat Christians even worse. As for me, Islam is more dangerous than the Talmudic judaism, at least there's no sach doctrines like Jihad or Halifat in Judaism. Jews want that piece of land on the Middle East, Muslims want the whole World.
But think about this: two sides who hate Christianity are killing each other.

Romans 9:6-8 says many of Abraham's descendants are NOT the children of God. Galatians 3:7 says only those who have faith in Jesus Christ ARE the children of God. Galatians 3:16 says JESUS is the seed of Abraham. Galatians 3:28-29 says the followers of Jesus Christ are Abraham's seed who receive the promises made to Abraham.
If Christians actually read the Bible, they would know that non-believing jews were cut OFF from Israel and won't be grafted in unless they do.
Also isn't the area that modern state of Israel on not even where the Biblical land of Israel was? Wasn't Israel NORTH of where modern Israel is? Isn't modern Israel actually Judea?

    • @Jaryism
      @Jaryism Před 9 měsíci

That was after the "Divided Kingdom".

Of course they spit on Christians... Paul said they were blinded for OUR SAKE... we should keep trying to help them-->romans 11:11

      @stefanspinu434 Před 9 měsíci +3

But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!
St Paul talks about a full inclusion, which can't happen if the don't believe in the Lord.
13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them.
St Paul's speech is about trying to bring at least a few jews to the faith.
15 For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? 16 If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
Here he just seems to be optimistic to me rather than saying what they should happen.
If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20 Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble.
Israel was cut off because of unbelief, with there being no difference since both them and gentiles will be cut off on unbelief.
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.
22 Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.
23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
He literally talks about them being cut off and grafted and in on account of their belief, so God will be connected to them based on their belief.
24 After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
This isn't saying they were more worthy, but if they truly believed them repenting would be a gain, not because of special status, but because a progical son returns.
Even so, he refers to them as branches and previously he talked about saving some of them, so he doesn't talk about a fully reconstructed Israel like the one of old.

      Romans 11:30-32
For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, 31so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. 32For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all.
The disobedience they have is the same as gentiles, so just as gentiles were saved with belief individually, so would jews.
      Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
St Paul is clear in not saying there are any priviliges between them.
Further, the earliest church fathers talk about the jews say some will repent, with these being part of the real Israel comprised of both gentiles and jews.
Not all the Jews were blind; some of them recognized Christ. But the fullness of the Gentiles comes in among those who have been called according to the plan, and there arises a truer Israel of God … the elect from both the Jews and the Gentiles.
      - Augustine of Hippo on Romans 11:26
The covenant will always be there, however long it takes for them to believe. For this is the Lord Jesus, who has promised to come from heaven in order to set the human race free. Every day he forgives the sins of those who turn to God, nor does he condemn unbelievers straightaway but waits for them, knowing that they may come to a knowledge of God. Commentary on Paul’s Epistles.
      - Ambrosiaster on Romans 11:27
God’s covenant will be fulfilled not when they are circumcised, nor when they do the other deeds of the law, but when they obtain forgiveness of sins. If this has been promised but has not yet happened in their case, nor have they enjoyed the forgiveness of sins in baptism, nevertheless it will certainly come to pass.

As an Israeli i do want to point out that although lots of religous jews are hostile to christians, overall the government protrcts the rights of christians and christian sites that freely operate in Israel, there are many monastaries and churches that operate and the government has no problems at all with it. Israel also allied itself with the lebanese catholic falange during the civil war/lebanese war. Palestinian ran areas such as bethlehem are slowly becoming less christian over time as the christians are being ran out and replaced by muslims. Either way think what you want, be pro or against Isrsel for whatever reasons, but dont neglect these facts aswell.

Yeah, but you have to remember stuff like the fact that jews were literally trying to put out a law that bans talking about the Lord.
This isn't helped by the fact that the jewish constitution literally describes the state as a jewish one, along with this being the intention behind it's creation.
You add in the fact that jews comprise the majority, so their hostility is a huge thing since they comprise most of the population.
There's also the thing that arabs at least have the excuse, which just explains but not justifies their actions, as now being a minority cut off from everyone in what was their former land, so them being radicalised by them is a natural result of all this.

There are lots of arabs and especially christian ones who are completely fine with Israel and support it over palestinian resistance groups. Also lots of non jewiah minorities do military service including druze, christian and even muslim arabs and they are some of the coolest people i served with. The palestinians are radicalised as they are because of islam and it is as simple as that.

They are cut off For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God’s kindness to you, eprovided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise fyou too will be cut off. 23 And geven they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.
They gotta repent, God has a plan for them at the end but the fulfillment is Jesus, they are like the northern Kingdom of Israel and we are Judah.
As for the Prophecy of them coming back, yes, there will be a mass converts of the Jews but most of them will be Slaughtered
and they will be able to be received back in Israel.
